I juat cant believe they wrote it that he left her at the end. It was rubbish! They spent 6 years building that reationship up only to do what they did to it a year later!
Come to think of it, I think that station may be cursed. I cant think of 1 couple that got together ON the station that were still together at the end. Not impressed!
I agree they totally ruined all the romances on there. Jadzia died, then Sisko left. But don't worry, in my mind the last part never happened... this is what really happen =) they won the war,no one died, and all the romances lived happily ever after.
Considering Odo can presumably live a long longer than humans... why the hell wouldn't he wait until later to rejoin and Great Link?? Seriously?
In fact the story shouldn't have ended where it did... as Sisko has to return. I really think they should make another series... or at least a mini-series to tie up all those loose ends...
@Loopysquish Yeah I thought that end was rotten to for Odo and Kira. Okay he had to cure them and letting them know his experience trusting humans is a good move, but if they know so much by linking and even become what they shape shift into that shouldn't take forever. Kira said okay you have one week thats plenty of time. That's really excessive if you ask me.
I disagree, I liked the ending the way it was done. At least it's not the typical happy end, everything is fine. Though I beleive if the producers and the studio heads gave them a chance they would've made a great movie bringing everyone home to the station. It's a shame DS9 never got the movie it deserved. :(
He betrayed Enabrin Tain, his old mentor from the Obsidian order, to save him, or something like that. Why he did it is never made clear, as far as im aware. But thats the main jist as to why he was exiled.

Yea I like that much better. I turn off the dvd now at the scene in Vics. Much better ending! lol! That way the show ends fabulously!
