-.- I'm halfway through the book,and it's honestly amazing.It's pretty much a free for all,every page has you shocked again and again.I noticed all of the arguing about the Hunger Games in these comments -.- I've also read the Hunger Games,which was a well written,addicting trilogy,but gore and graphic violence wise,Battle Royale takes the cake.Both are addicting,couldn't put them down for a second,and though the storylines may be somewhat similar,they are at the same time completely different.

No one copied anybody! Do any of y'all know how many books have the same concept of battle royale and the hunger games?! Here's a few: The Running Man, Dead Famous, and Lord of the Flies. So this concept of people killing each other is not any new plot under the sun.

However amazing this trailer may be, it does no justice to the film OR book, so all you rabid Hunger Games fans stop commenting about how awsome and better it is if you havent read the book. The Hunger Games is for pussies, it's to cheesy and tame. This movie is a rabid dog without a leash, it's intense, real and well written. The hunger games would of been better if it weren't for that god awful third book. Looking forward to the movie though, Woody Harrelson will kick ass

....people, you can't compare this movie to the Hunger Game's because, obviously, the movie hasn't come out yet. And, even if it has, it will have a 12 year difference. The quality wouldn't be comparable. Plus, the student actors, for the most part, have never acted before this movie. Now, if you wanna compare the book Battle Royale and The Hunger Games, go right ahead.
