I watched as the chicks made their commens that have been slammed by so many and have to say that they were made more out of the influence that has been made on them than actual experience or knowledge. Rather than put words into our soldiers' mouths, let's ask THEM what THEY think...if in any way possible, a survey should be sent to each person serving our country (U.S.) in Iraq whether or not THEY want the war to continue or not. (Should be anonymous of course) If >50% say that they want to continue the war, then let the war continue. If >50% say that they want out, then the war should end.

War is the only way leaders can show how big their balls are by sending others to do their fighting. My brother, An Aussie Soldier was sent their Becaus the US Pres asked us to go, he was shot by an 18 yr old marine. The innocent (all soldiers) die for what they believe in, politicians declare war cause its good for the economy and they think they are hero's, grab a rifle and go an fight your own battles, then you will become a hero. No major network would even air the commercial for the Dixie Chicks' documentary for fear of offending Bush and having the FCC come down hard on them. I'm so sick of all these people who say, omg i used to love the dixie chicks but since they said that, i hate them now. Yet they applaud freedom of speach. HOW HYPOCRIT IS THAT?!! I totally support the dixie chicks. They've stood up for what they believe in. Their lives were threatened but they didn't care. They went on anyways. I really look up to them for that.

I am from Australia and I think the outcry over Dixie Chicks criticising George W Bush is outrageous! They are not the only performers to do so. I have seen several performers at gigs here in Australia display their negative opinion about Bush and the war. Some Americans are so damn patriotic all the time that they can't even recognise that their own president is a dickhead. Australians are not afraid to criticise our moronic PM.

I watched as the chicks made their commens that have been slammed by so many and have to say that they were made more out of the influence that has been made on them than actual experience or knowledge. Their current tour is by no means the #1 tour in the world. They are playing venues that hold only a fraction of what thye did before. Sorry but those are the facts.

How sad that these fantastically talented, brave woman were so brutalized. I love country music and STILL cannot hear the Dixie Chicks on my car radio. But with a lot of the country musicians joining in on this disgusting treatment of one of my favorite groups - I won't listen to a lot of them anymore anyway. So country music lost a lot of us who weren't hanging on every word (lie) Rove and company told us. I love the Dixie Chicks -- please never shut up.

I would one like to say that The Dixie Chicks won 5 grammys from the ASSOCIATION, not on a popular vote. Now i am in the center, because i believe that this war should not have been started.. But i also think that if you are going to make a comment, you need to be responsible for the reprocussions of the comment.
