  • haha i wanna ear some hawain woodrose seeds ;-) and than listining to this :D

  • Atoms merge ,people melt with this tune.

  • quite nice though

  • @dntpay4sftware are u fucking retarded? this is like amongst 5 top goa releases from time psy was a semen in goas balls..

  • Comment removed

  • TOTAL ECLIPSE : Violent Relaxation !! was my first electronic album ... 96' today I only hear electronic music ;o))

  • new sound release :D

  • @dntpay4sftware This sounds like Goa to me. In my opinion you are trying to label things too much. Maybe I am wrong, but PLEASE explain how you think this is Psytrance and not Goa.

  • Wierdly the first track I found the name of was; Total eclipse, Total eclipse

  • I was first introduced by GOA when I was 16 or 17 bout 5-6 years ago. It was Paul Oakenfold - Voyage Into Trance.

  • @TryptamineDreamMusic That is a classic track! Much respect!

  • @PsycloneD I, too listen to hip hop or a long time, i got hooked up on popping, then to liquid, liquid usually uses Trance/Acid-House music, so from a liquid vid i discovered Total Eclipse,Electric Universe, and from then the names of artists just kept on coming.I can say that im pretty much a metal fan too, i like melodeath metal or just some hardcore like Five Finger Death Punch, punk, funk. But tbh all the mainstream atm. is spoiling the youths knowledge about real music -_-

  • oh and i was 16

  • I was bored one day and was here on you tube trying to find good music. So i put trance in the search bar pressed play and then a vid came up called A touch of Goa Trance. The song was a remix of muse breaks by Infected Mushroom (which many consider more psytrance) but i loved the song so started listening to them and then branched out from there into more Goa!

  • i think i heard "The Promised Land" album by Chakra and Edi Mis and that was my first introduction to goa. I'm 17 right now, and no one my age is into this stuff. Its depressing, ha.

  • oooohhhh yeaahhhhh !!!!!!

  • perfect intro

  • I was introduced just a couple of years ago... I lost my "goa-virginity" with THE MUSES RAPT - Spiritual Healing!!! woahhh

  • @fede1986fede1986 So now are you a "goa-slut"?

  • No way! I'm kinda selective :P

  • @fede1986fede1986 I lost mine to Infected mushrooms - Radioactive rain.....

  • Bought one of the GOA collection cd thingies by accident and LOVED it. Thats about 13-14 years ago now i think.

  • when i was 16 about 4 years ago, a real goa fan from greece gave me a goa mix! so, not too long ago.

  • love it =)

    J'ai 16 ans mais j'adOre meme si c'est vieuux !!

  • im a metalhead and im into goa now thanks to your vids many thanks for the vids enjoying everyone of them

  • @doomofall606 This is good to hear! This isn't the first time a metalhead has told me they enjoy Goa. Weird! Respect, my friend.

  • Funny, I'm not a metalhead myself.

But an old friend of mine is a drummer in a black metal band and he got me into this music.

    Also, props for the uploads!

  • You're very welcome. :)

  • i listen hip hop like 10 years but + other types of music rock pop and i like some tracks on goa not big number but some are great . your uploads is really cool

  • Thank you very much, my friend! I hope you stick around and keep listening!

  • Answer to your question is at age og 16 back in 96..First track was Teleport by MWNN..BTW Total Eclipse is pure 5 from me..

  • Great tune

  • YEEEEEHAAAAAAAAA!!

simply the best goatrance track ever made...

listen! this track speaks to You!!! :D

  • was bedeutet eig immer vol. ???

  • das bedeutet volume, also erstes album is vol.1, 2tes vol2 usw :p

  • Some time ago...I just didn't know it was Goa and all. Just a little while ago I was searching for electronical music, and I bumpt against Goa...And me likez it! =3

  • Back on 94.

    Mahadeva rocked my world.

    Peace.

  • My first Goa Experience was at the age of 14 (or 15) listening My Destiny from Talamasca. The first track I really liked was "Hurricane" by Life Extension. But initially I didn´t like much of Goa, Psytrance and other similar genres. But one day I have downloaded the track "Psychodelic" by Talamasca (This is Goa Trance Vol. 1...xD) and since that day I hear Goa Trance (mainly Full On) every day. Must admit, I'm addicted to Goa. KEEP GOA ALIVE!!

  • That's a great story! I'm glad you're involved with Goa now! :)

  • my first goa track was 1 year ago kabalah also by astral projection and i think kabalah is now one of the best ones

  • my first goa experience was "People Can Fly" by Astral Projection 4 or 5 years ago

and its still my fav goa track :D

  • CLASSIC

  • In my opinion, goa trance is the top of the mountain that is electronic music. The energy, the flow, and the intensity just put it in another league. I, too, was an avid regular trance listener until I discovered the goa genre. Hooked ever since :)

  • Oh certainly. It's great to discover such a thing. ;)

  • haha same here :D

when taking a look on the whole genre, goa is the fuckin best

tho most of my all time favs come out of the hardtrance genre ... but since this genre goes more and more into techno, no more favs are to be expected ... sadly

  • Good times! =)

This track is one of my all time favorites as well. I've been browsing through most of your videos by now, and although I own most of it, I'll have to check out some of the newer stuff. I kinda gave up on keeping track of new Goa some years ago as the scene mutated into crap, but it appears to have recovered somewhat. =)

My first experience with Goa was Greenflow by Subcouds, another track that never gets old. I don't remember the exact age, but low 20s.

    Awesome channel btw!

  • Thanks for commenting, my friend. Yes, Goa has recovered a little bit from the lull it was in.

    Respect.

  • Year was 1999, I got bored with regular trance so was asking people around to give me names of other trance musical groups, one name struck out Astral Projection !@#%%^!^!^!%^!^*&(*

  • What a great track! I love the Goa sound!

  • jrytrjhrgfyuwiedrgbfbygbftfbfjhuyrtfghgky hrgfjgyghfhg hbefjgsygyrterhyhyfrtduyrghhrfg vyruergyfgyh rehfuryreryrrefhjhgy uirtgfuiytyuruighrjggt jrt8945hre uutyhiuger

  • Total Eclipse - Pulsar Glitch, back in 1996, was the first goa/psy track i've heard

  • Génial.

  • I was introduced to GOA with the track Subconscioussness by ZIAX!

  • i was introduced about 2 years ago at 18, first song was alien pets by prana and is still my favorite

  • hm well goa must been back when i was about 18 or 17,,, that bee 92 early 93 still kick ass though!!!!!!!

try going to shivamoon or darkside of the moon on panan..

  • I have this track

    Time - Total Eclipse

    good old Goa trance

  • trop bon, vraiment genial!Awesone!!

  • This is a nice track.......im a psy goa trance lover=)

does anyone knows a song named

    Time - Total eclipse

I tried to find it but for some reason i cant find it lol

maybe u guys can help me

  • 2 and a half years ago i was 18..i was at work and a friend of mine gave me this cd......who would have told me that it was my first encounter with the pschedelice world!!!! at first it was just the music and colours..but now its something else..more deep.

    Namaste

  • Oh and as that person who passed this life to me, i to have passed this passion, this world to someone else.

  • 3:15

  • Ohhh yes.

  • Yeah, lol, it's amazing...!

  • what is the name of te vol.17 track

  • Good good good good :D

  • 2 years ago at 17, someone sent me a Goa Gil video (might be psytrance) and from thereon I found some goa video's.

  • PsycloneD great thing u are doing with this "This is Goa Trance" series. Thank you and congratulations! The first Goa track I heard was curiously the first track of this series - Jungle Storm from Talamasca"; the 2nd one was Granada from Power Source". I think I was 16 or 17 that time maybe 17 already...

This track is great! Never heard it before. Nice!

  • Very nice. Thanks for the comments! Respect.

  • Was about to upload this gem to youtube, but it was allready there. Superb track!!

  • Yes. Surprisingly, not many have heard it!

  • Indeed. This is one of those rare moments in history where someone just decideded to push their envelope to the max - "lets see just how far we can take this thing" they thought, like when Metallica wrote Blackened or when the guys who design fighter jets thought:- "Fuck this, lets build an F-22!" . . . know what I mean? ;-)

  • a firm favorite

  • I was first introduced to Goa 1 week ago by your This is Goa Trance vol. 10. I am 19 and I never heard about it before, maybe it´s becouse my friends don´t often listen to Trance. Or maybe becouse it is not known in Czech Republic :D. It is great style, thank you for introducing ;)

  • One of my favorite comments! Thanks!

  • Wow :) And why is it so special? Everyone writes here that goa is great:)

  • Well... Its really hard to explain why Goa is so great.. For me, its because it brings me to peace in a way that no other music can.. It makes me feel connected to something that's not of this world. Creating this beautiful music (i'm not as kick ass as those on the "This is Goa Trance" vids) brings me in touch with my inner-self, and the super-conscious of the Universe. And yes, this is WITHOUT drugs.

I'm so happy Goa is making its return!!!!

  • Hehe, I mean why is my comment so special, that it is one of PsycloneD's favorites, if everyone here writes that Goa is great:).

Anyway I think that you are right about Goa. It is like something not from this world and that is why Goa is so special.

And I almost forgot! Few years ago I played PC game Dethkarz. Music in this game was like Goa to me(But it is long ago, I don't remember it exactly). Am I right? Is here anyone familiar with this game? Is it Goa?

  • thanks for the reply Psyclone D , I'll also ckeck the other tracks out , keep up with the good work , greetings from Greece

  • Fantastic! Thanks for all the comments!

  • at the age of 17 sheyba trance african express! great recollections from the era 1995 - 2001 , thanks for the memories total eclipse really had a distinctive sound , have you posted anything yet from hallucinogen and prana?

  • I've posted 'Alien Pets' by Prana. I believe it was one of the first videos in the series.

  • About a month ago, and I'm 23. I'm frustrated that I've only just come across it because I would have embraced it a long time ago. Glad I did, though. It's great to know that there's a community out there of awakened people making and enjoying this incredible music.

  • Oh yes. I wish I'd found it earlier, as well. At least you found it, though.

  • And thanks to you for supplying such a great deal of the best :)

  • No problem! Glad you enjoy it! :)

    Love it :)

  • 15years old, listening to Super FM in Greece! Then went to a Return to the Source party and that was it!!!!!!!!

  • I was introduced to psytrance/goa by a friend of mine last year (im 17). He let me hear some infected mushroom and i was mad about it. Still am.

The first real goa track i listened to was india spirit by erez aizen an dj jorg.

  • exacly the same happened to me :D

  • 1995 for me man, my cousin had a Goa compilation CD. Fell in love ever since...

  • Hey Psy! Keep it coming... Love "your" compilation.. =)

  • Shakta-Lepton head

    and Trancewave-land of freedom remix

were some of the first tracks that i heard

    back in the 1997

  • about a few months back i went to this psy trance party in some abandoned church near amsterdam, wasnt great cause the levels werent right for the music.

But i have to say ive really really been enjoying hearing your whole GOA collection so far, thanks a lot fo the uploads man. ( btw im 20 now)

    heil eris!

  • Mahadeva!

I think i was about 10 years old, my father was introduced to it by a guy from his workplace, so he played it for me, and 8 years later it's still my favorite music :p

Btw, awesome work with this series of videos PsycloneD. Loads of great artists I didn't know about.

Keep up the good work !

  • This was the first album of electronic music i buied (buyed? lol).

But the best titles are on the CD 2, the titles 3 and 4.

Some would say that it is violent relaxation, but no.

Its the titles 3 and 4 of the second CD!!!

  • my first sound was "tribal science" in 1996, now i just love goa !

  • i was introduced through astral projection (mahadeva) as i wanted to hear new styles of music, and as you can all realise i loved it. I was round 16 and discovering all kinds of alternative electronic/techno/trance when i first heard tracks of Dj borna (more psycheledic/trance style this is why for me the first goa i heard was mahadeva). Anyway i like the idea of your musical introduction for others. keep it up.

  • Thanks for the your involvement and compliment. Keep on watching!

  • same here lol....astral projection totally blew me away for a long time, ive all of their stuff now...just amazing.

  • Around 17 , too , but it was an old cd with demo games , and they posted some goa music , for the first time there :)

  • since i was 13, now im 17. I was also introduced with Cydonia's Animals by the way xD

  • Haha, coincidence!

  • I've just recently been listening to trance, maybe since '03, and only really homed in on the type that I like the best (Goa, of course) within the last month or so, I mean I heard it before of course, but didn't know what kind of trance it was so I could differentiate it by name, and thus more easily hunt it down. Btw, I've been a death metal guitarist for 18 years. This music really takes you somewhere else mentally, and I like the dark melodies as opposed to the syrupy sweet happy ones.

  • the future is in mind

  • your right about that, but of course projected future is an illusion. future is ultimatly now!

  • true :)

  • Im 17 right now and Im starting to listen to goa, a new friend of mine recomendet it to me..

  • I got into it like 2 or 3 months ago. I didn't know much about Goa, I started listening trance, psytrance, etc.

Thank you for upload ALL this great tracks.

    :D

  • This is my first time i listen GOA .-

    it's magnificant :)

i really like it very much...

    IM from Argentina =)

  • i was introduced to goa a small year ago when i went to a party, been sold to the music ever since :p

great song by the way :) got it on my pc to ;)

  • I got into Goa about 2 years ago. Was searching around the internet looking for some good Electronic music and I ran into this.

  • I started listening to goa not long ago; maybe a year or two; a friend of mine gave me a link of burning up by astral projection and i was amazed, and i downloaded a couple more songs by them and infected mushroom and i loved it; now i listen everything i can get my hands on :P

  • I flew away again, you compelled and stone to dance*********

  • alrighty a new one sweeet

  • Great beat!!! Keep it coming brother!!! :)

  • I think the first time I got into it was in the late 90's. I heard one of the following artists first, and then looked for similar styles because I loved it so much: Astral Projection, Juno Reactor, or Infected Mushroom.

I'm glad you're representing Goa on youtube!!! Please keep it up!

  • I most definitely will -- if you keep on watching/listening. ;)

The fact that so many old tracks are considered golden even nowadays is amazing. Just trying to keep it alive here.

Thanks for the comments, too. :)
