  • The Government Has Nothing To Do With Architecture & Building. Game Set Match, Sam Just Dismembered Another Liberetardian LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL.

  • Sam you have no idea what the fuck freedom or a libertarian is. You are a douchey douche of the highest degree. That nasal know nothing sheltered academic pitch hurts my balls.

  • How the fuck is Haiti libertarian? That's tyranny. This caller sounds like he was paid to call up by Sam, he missed way too many softballs. "Why don't you support freedom? I would love to be free to not have to worry about health care. I would love to have health care as a basic right of my existence." "You don't have diareaha because you're government made sure the water was potable." Why don't we just have constant ecstacy as a basic right? How can an adult honestly say these things?

  • /watch?v=ZazTtaW_ZAo Sam, do you remember Electric Dreams? This kid sound like that Psycho computer, doesn't he tho.

  • LIBERTY! CONSITUTION! LIBERTY! RFID CHIPS! RON PAUL 1812! I WIN THE DEBATE! I have no hope for my selfish generation.

  • oh i loved his grin when the sperge first said "ron paul"

  • So Ben is really an anarchist. Even dumber.

  • @Maxdwolf Oops, posted too soon. He's just a Ron Paul parrot who doesn't understand any of this.

  • His answer to "Do you feel that building codes impose on our freedom's?" at 8:22 says it all. He says, "No". He is in direct opposition to his entire argument. Game, set, match

  • @Bolgernow That is his opinion. My answer is Yes... it infringes my freedoms. To back up what I mean watch the documentary: Garbage Warrior, it's a bit too long to explain it through here, but I believe that what Oliver Hodge is trying to do should encourage anyone from any political side.

  • @erikelrojo99 well then drop out from society, reject our basic social contract we all are a part of, & start "Erikland". When it fails, don't come crying to me. Play BioShock, it'll be your views brought to life!

  • @Bolgernow

Type garbagewarrior in google to see what I mean

If I want this guy to build me a house or if I want to build a house following his method, I can't do it because of the building code. Just take a brief look at what I mean before dismissing what I say. I think that actually liberals would like this guy to succeed, this would be a great way to build homes, green energy and would help poor people being able to be off the grid.

  • @erikelrojo99 "Garbagewarrior" tried to address the serious issue of waste in building design. However, his houses had such basic & structural flaws, he was stripped of his contractor license. It was re-instated in 2007 out of pity, but the leap from green genius to insane madman was quick. Doctors should be accredited, not just experimenting untested skills on me at MY RISK. If YOU want that, start your own country. The rest of society LIKES building codes, the FDA, & the USDA

  • @Bolgernow I don't mean to come here and bash everyone and to impose my views, I'm coming from a good side and I just want to share what Oliver Hodge (Architect in the garbage warrior documentary) is trying to do. I think anyone would get excited by the stuff he was and is trying to do!

  • @erikelrojo99 there is a difference between being "excited", & admiring what someone is "trying to do", & the REALITY that occurs when they fail to do it. If he wants to experiment, get a financial backer, or keep trying his OWN until he PERFECTS it. THEN he has something worth while. He has not come close yet. Edison didn't release defective light bulbs that due to a design flaw exploded burning down homes. He invented them to work PERFECTLY then IMPROVED on them

  • Ben is retarded.

  • Obama is as bad as Bush. Gary Johnson in 2012.

  • self-ownership is a fallacy within itself, children

  • @maozebong100 Says who?

  • @noyouaintgettingit

    says circular logic.

  • Its like it doesn't matter to you that Bayer, Pfizer, Eli Lilly and the Rand Corporation among others control our medical industry

It doesn't matter to you that we have rotating doors to these unelected bureaucracies. Instead, you complain that we need to raise taxes on these sacks of shit (as if that will fix the problem)

Why not do away with the whole thing?

The regulators create rules to eliminate competition and create legal monopolies.

    Please debate me Sam.

    Please.

  • @noyouaintgettingit Call in to the show M-F 11:30am EST: 646-257-3920

    Skype: majoritylive

  • @noyouaintgettingit I think Sam would own you.Sam makes a good point that some things need to be or should be regulated. Like a typical Paulitard you just attack people with childish insults and use logical fallacies.

  • @KingKaio Oh, and you use what?

As I said, dumb cock sucker, SEC took bribes from banks, and our government was involved with AIDING AND ABETTING THE BANKS ASSIST THE MEXICAN MAFIA IN LAUNDERING DRUG MONEY.

    YOU CALL THAT REGULATION?

    AS I SAID

ANONYMOUS HAS DONE MORE IN THE PAST 2 YEARS THAN YOUR CORRUPT GOVERNMENT HAS DONE IN ITS ENTIRE EXISTENCE.

    PROVE ME WRONG, BITCH

  • Corruption in government is nowhere near isolated events. Corruption in government goes back to the dawn of time. If you'll look back to the time of Judges, when the Israelites wanted a king and begged God for a king, God said "Why do you want a king? (paraphrasing here...) Kings will only rob you of your fruits and of your daughters"

But all you people do is beg for more controllers over your life.

It doesn't matter to you that OSHA gets bribes

    or SEC gets bribes

    Or that Monsanto controls USDAG

  • The sad thing is that every time us liberty minded individuals point out government corruption, you guys think more government on top of government fixes it. Then it turns around and blows up in your faces that you were wrong, and then you blame us libertarians as if our complaints caused your government to be corrupt. You democrats act as if government corruption is isolated events, or as if its isolated only to "conservatives" but in reality, you dumbasses prop up neoconservatives

  • The most corrupt thing in the world is government, and I can provide you with thousands upon thousands upon thousands of examples if you'd like to take the time to be intellectually honest with yourself and everyone else.

  • Debate me Sam! Try to make me out like I'm a nutjob, and I'll back every single mother fucking thing I say with written documents and sources! I could even provide it all in MLA format if you wish! Call me a dumbass, please! Make fun of me so I can point out the fallacies in this pointless government worship!

  • ITS LIKE OH, SEC GOT CAUGHT GETTING BRIBES FROM BANKS!

DEMOCRATS: WAHH MORE UNELECTED BUREAUCRACIES WILL FIX IT!

REPUBLICANS: GOOD! LET OUR BUDDIES GET RICHER AND RICHER OFF THE POOR!

LIBERTARIANS: OVERTHROW THE WHOLE DAMNED THING!!!!

  • GOD I CAN'T BELIEVE THE DUMB FUCKING IDIOCY OF DEMOCRATS SOMETIMES

  • I am so sick and tired of paultards.we should go to ronpaul videos and troll the paultards in their own way.they are the biggest threat to America.

  • @darknight651 I'm sick and tired of dumbass fucking idiots like you who think more regulators fix things. Just like you doofy goofy shitheads think the Security and Exchange Commission were so wonderful at regulating the banks, but then they took huge fucking bribes from Wells Fargo and Bank of America, and it wasn't until vigilante justice from the PEOPLE (TRUE DEMOCRACY) stood up and took action with BANK RUNS that change began to take shape!

    Fuck your corrupt government, dumbass

  • @darknight651 Anonymous has done more in the past 2 years to shape justice in the world through true consensus and true direct democracy than your fake ass unelected bureaucracies could have ever done

    Wake the fuck up dumbass

  • sURPRISED TO SEE THERE ARE LESS PAULTARD COMMENTS HERE.

  • All less consumer protection does is make America into the Wild West.

If I recall my history, it was great fun for the robber barons, but not so much for everyone else that got poisoned by pollution, unsafe jobs, and unsafe products.

  • The far left fear a free market because it means they'll have to stop being fucking lazy and protest about twice a week to get shit done.

At least that would fix the problem of apathy in this god forsaken country.

And at least that would get shit fixed through the voice of the people rather than through some corrupt bureaucrat.

  • @noyouaintgettingit what is a free market and how will it improve the situation?

Why arnt people voting through there wallet now and croney cap corps failing?

Why are americans still buying from companies that make there goods in sweat shop?

  • @gihaification It does happen.

Look at what happened to Bank of America when we started shifting money away from banks to credit unions.

Don't act like the PEOPLE don't have the power, because when you start acting like a fucking defeatist like that, it equates to cowardice.

  • @noyouaintgettingit So look how bad things had toget before some actions took place, Still hasnt stopped sweatshops.

Do not twist my point, I'm not adovcating doing nothing, I'm pointing out how obviously flawed Libertarianism is, and how the forces they expect to regulate the problems of the world do not stop problems currently how do they expect them to solve even more?

  • Comment removed

  • @gihaification The more unelected bureaucracies we have the less say the people have as a whole. The more unelected bureaucracies we have, the more crimes go unpunished and regulators simply become a middleman for bribery

  • @noyouaintgettingit So here we have the split,

    A) We could create new regulation and inforce the law, We obviously have some loop holes being exploited lets fix them and get the law working for us.

    B) We deregulate everything and my previous question applys again, Seeing how no one currently votes through there wallet or stops sweat shops, how will this work?

  • NO, MY IDEAL SOCIETY WOULD NOT BE ANOTHER SOMALIA

MY IDEAL SOCIETY WOULD BE A VOLUNTARIST SOCIETY, AKIN TO AMISH, WITH NEIGHBORS HELPING NEIGHBORS (BECAUSE THEY FUCKING HAVE NO CHOICE BECAUSE THEY DONT GET GOVERNMENT HANDOUTS)

  • AT THE VERY FUCKING LEAST IF WE ARE GOING TO HAVE "REGULATORS" AND "BUREAUCRATS" WHY IN THE FUCK CAN WE NOT HAVE A VOICE IN WHO IS APPOINTED TO THESE POSITIONS

YOU CLAIM YOU ARE A DEMOCRAT BUT THEN YOU LET THESE UNELECTED BUREAUCRATS MAKE LAWS ON SHIT WITHOUT ANY SORT OF REPRESENTATIVE VOICE OF THE PEOPLE.

SOUNDS A BIT LIKE FASCISM TO ME!

  • AND FUCK BARACK OBAMA TOO THE FUCKING CHILD MURDERING LYING HYPOCRITICAL SACK OF SHIT

  • I HAVE SEEN FIRST HAND OSHA WORKERS GETTING THEIR PALMS GREASED OVER ROOFING STANDARDS

AND I SPOKE OUT ABOUT IT

    AND I AM LIBERTARIAN

    SO FUCK THIS

AND FUCK THESE STUPID GOD FORSAKEN ASSUMPTIONS YOU HAVE ABOUT US

  • GUESS WHAT SAM

    I'VE WORKED IN CONSTRUCTION

I HAVE SEEN OSHA WORKERS GET BRIBES FIRST HAND.

    IT HAPPENS.

  • @noyouaintgettingit - course it happens. So? Some people will die this year because they were trapped in their burning or submerged car by their seatbelts. Therefore, according to you, we should eliminate seatbelts. I'd still far rather work in an OSHA workplace with tools tested for safety than in the factories of the robber barons of the nineteenth century. The free market is a return to peasantry and serfdom - but it's great for the wealthy who blow smoke up your ass.

  • @47f0 ROBBER BARONS ONLY EXIST BECAUSE YOU VOLUNTARILY ALLOW THEM TO EXIST BY USING THEIR MONETARY SYSTEM

STOP USING THEIR CURRENCY AND YOU WILL WIN AGAINST THEM

WHAT DOES IT TAKE TO GET THROUGH

  • @47f0 but at least you're reaching out to at least halfway see where I'm coming from. But I still don't think you fully grasp what conclusion I'm coming to. But you're approaching it. If only you took a few extra steps, you'd see.

  • @47f0 If you're going to have bureaucrats, it should only be through direct-democracy and as local local local as possible. This federalistic bureaucracy is asinine, arbitrary, and stupid.

  • @47f0 The people should always have a voice in who makes the fucking laws.

My point is that this current system does not allow that, and your "regulators" are not appointed by us. So you do not have a true democratic-republic, you have oligarchic kleptocratic corporate fascism where corporations appoint regulators. The very thing you accuse my system of is what your system currently is. Liberals tend to have gross misunderstandings of true libertarianism.

  • HERES THE REAL WORLD SAM

LIBERTARIANISM IS VIGILANTE JUSTICE AGAINST CORRUPT CORPORATISM AND IS THE INVISIBLE HAND (THE PEOPLE EN MASSE) BOYCOTTING AGAINST CORRUPT PRACTICES.

"LACK OF BUILDING CODES CAUSE DAMAGES AND DEATH?"

GUESS WHAT, THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE UPRISING DOES A SHIT LOAD MORE THAN A CORRUPT BUREAUCRAT WHO TAKES HANDOUTS AND BRIBES

  • youtube.com/watch?v=d33ozAEUNCo

  • youtube.com/watch?v=d33ozAEUNCo

  • HERES THE REAL WORLD SAM

YOUR BELOVED SECURITY IS GOING TO START DETAINING REGULAR FUCKING CITIZENS OVER POLITICAL DISSENT

    WAKE UP SAM

  • HERE IS A QUESTION SAM SEDER.

IF YOU LOVE FREEDOM SO MUCH

WHY DO YOU SUPPORT BARACK OBAMA

OBAMA SIGNED NDAA AND YOU DO WHAT?

SACRIFICE YOUR LIBERTY FOR SECURITY SOME MORE SAM

SEE HOW FAR IT GETS YOU

    BEN FRANKLIN SAID IT BEST

THOSE WHO SACRIFICE LIBERTY FOR SECURITY LOSE BOTH

DON'T YOU REALIZE GOVERNMENT IS INFRINGING UPON YOUR LIBERTIES OF LIFE UNDER THE AUSPICES OF TAKING "CARE" OF YOU? SO THEY SAY THEY WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU, IF YOU AGREE THEY CAN TAKE AWAY YOUR BILL OF RIGHTS OVER TIME.

  • right wing libertarianism, is a self-refuting argument whose inherent contradictions can't be sustained and no building code can prevent that house of cards from tumbling down under this weight.

  • I think anyone with a brain would have a hard time understanding ben

  • ok I changed my mind...Ben is a fucking Idiot! hahahahahah

  • Ben is an idiot

  • Obama is as bad as Bush. Gary Johnson in 2012.

  • Ben is foolish, but he is not representative of most Libertarians. You liberals who bash libertarians yet support Obama for violating our civil liberties are fucking hypocrites.

  • This idiot says "freedom" the same way Sarah Palin says "hockey mom." It's backed up by nothing.

  • Ben is a fucking moron. No reason to sugar coat it. He's out of his depth in a kiddie pool... like most Libertarians.

  • @MichaelConrad1D Yeah, your government is so fucking great that Security and Exchange Commission took bribes from major banks. Yeah. Your regulators at work sure to fucking make things great don't they. Dumb fucker.

  • @MichaelConrad1D Oh...... and you think its alright for SEC to get bribes from banks right? I mean, its totally alright that these unelected bureaucrats skim the top and dip their hand in the cookie jar, right? And more unelected bureaucrats will fix that?

    Fucking STUPID

  • @noyouaintgettingit So you want america to turn into libertarian paradise like somalia?

  • @darknight651 GOD WHAT IS IT WITH YOU DUMB MOTHER FUCKERS ALWAYS CLAIMING LIKE SOMALIA IS WHAT LIBERTARIANISM IS

    STRAWMAN ARGUMENT SON

    HAVE YOU HEARD OF IT

  • @noyouaintgettingit You dumbson of a bitch.why resort to namecalling you motherfucker and granny fucker for real while arguing nations issues?

  • @darknight651 Because all of you neoliberals call us libertarians "idiots" because we simply advocate justice of the masses through en masse boycott! We advocate caveat emptor! LET THE BUYER BEWARE! Stop being apathetic and thinking your government is FIGHTING FOR YOU because THEY ARE FUCKING NOT! These scumbags in government are the same cock sucking mother fuckers that gave syphilis to innocent blacks in tuskeegee! Wake the FUCK UP

  • @darknight651 Sam Seder thinks the government tells us when water is potable and when its drinkable! BULLSHIT! I've seen news reports lately that show where some people have died due to brain eating amoebas! Great job government! Just like you're doing a damned great job putting RAT POISON in our fucking water! Oh, it only causes bone cancer and brittle bones! But oh! Lets put it in water to make the masses complacent. Fuck.

  • @noyouaintgettingit So only government causing these problems not corporations?

  • @darknight651 BOTH are! But its up to the PEOPLE not the GOVERNMENT to solve the FUCKING PROBLEM, because GOVERNMENT in BED WITH CORPORATIONS = FASCISM, and when they make "deals" with companies, its CRONY CORPORATISM, A NEW FORM OF FASCISM, all forms of government ultimately lead to OLIGARCHAL KLEPTOCRACY

  • @noyouaintgettingit gOVERNMENT IS MADE UP OF THE PEOPLE FOR THE PEOPLE AND BY THE PEOPLE.ITS NOT AN INDIVIDUAL WORKING FOR FOR PROFIT.WHY DONT U BLAME CORPORATIONS?THEY ARE THE ONW WHO BRIBING THE POLITICIANS.

  • @darknight651 I BLAME THEM BOTH DICKHEAD BUT IM NOT SUCH A SHALLOW FUCK THAT I THINK GOVERNMENT WILL BE A PERMANENT SOLUTION BECAUSE I'M NOT A DIPSHIT I REALIZE GOVERNMENTS BECOME CORRUPTED

    DUHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

  • @darknight651 IF GOVERNMENT IS MADE FOR AND BY THE PEOPLE DUMBASS, WHEN THE FUCK DO YOU REMEMBER VOTING IN THE REGULATORS FOR THE SECURITY AND EXCHANGE COMMISSION, OR THE DEPARTMENT OF THE INTERIOR?

    WAKE THE FUCK UP DICKHEAD

  • @darknight651 So I guess letting SEC CONTINUE BEING AN UNELECTED BUREAUCRACY TO GET BRIBES FROM BANKS IS WHAT YOU SUGGEST RIGHT? THATS PARADISE TO YOU RIGHT?!?!?!

GUESS WHAT DUMBASS ANONYMOUS HAS DONE MORE IN THE PAST TWO YEARS FOR JUSTICE THAN YOUR SHIT GOVERNMENT EVER WILL FUCKING DO

  • @darknight651 I guess you like unelected bureaucracies getting away with crimes!

I guess you like not having a fucking representative voice in who is appointed to these god forsaken bureaus that pull rules out of their ass just so they can extort people that are competing with their crony friends out of money and create legal loopholes for monopolistic corporatism to exist right?

FUCK what is wrong with dumbass fucking neoliberal shitheads

  • @noyouaintgettingit I am tired and going to sleep.have argued enough with paultards.see you tomorrow motherfucking son of a bitch.

  • @darknight651 Goodnight government dick sucker!

  • @noyouaintgettingit Goodnight corporate whore.

  • @darknight651 I'm not a corporate whore, I boycott companies I don't like, because I'm not government dick sucker.

  • @darknight651 I, unlike you, have the mental capacity and the mental discipline to establish networks to en masse boycott. yes, we at Anonymous helped stage en mass bank runs on November 4th of this year. What have you democrats done? Beg government to save you once again, even though they're the ones who fucked you in the ass?!

  • @darknight651 Your solution is this:

OH PLEASE GOVERNMENT PLEASE GIVE THE BANKS MORE BAILOUT MONEY SO THE CEOS CAN WRITE THEMSELVES MORE FUCKING BONUS CHECKS AND NOT ISSUE OUT LOANS TO LOW INCOME FAMILIES! LETS FUCKING WRITE THESE RICH COCK SUCKERS ANOTHER BAILOUT PLEASE! WERE DEMOCRAPUBLICANS WERE THE SAME THING BUT WE FAKE LIKE WE FIGHT AGAINST EACH OTHER BUT WE BOTH GIVE BANKS BAILOUT MONEY OHHH PLEASE GOVERNMENT SAVE OUR BANKS AGAIN OOOOOOH

  • This caller is an idiotic douche bag. There are better libertarian debaters. This guy failed from the get go.

  • @theautomaster There are, but this guy pretty much embodies the mindset of the libertarian philosophy.

  • Excellent job, Sam. That guy is a fucking MORON.

  • "It's cheaper and more profitable to build a building that is not, NOT, sustainable during an earthquake."

Sentences like this expose Mr. Seder for the fraud that he is. If you are a contractor whose buildings routinely collapse in the event of an earthquake, the developers will not, NOT, hire you to build their buildings in an area where earthquakes are commonplace. If you aren't hired, Sam, how do gain this magic "profit" you mentioned?

  • @dweber73609 a low baller contractor fresh outa college would, theres a new one born every day....i guess thats just life and the courts will deal with it? Maybe the courts will get flooded with law suites and ask for regulations by the legislative branch to slow the deaths and injury claims flooding the courts, jails would be exploding too with young idiots trying to make a fast dollar.....!@\/@!

  • I mean, who would build the schools, the hospitals etc.,etc.

I mean, a so-called free market paradise means no child labour laws, no minimum wage laws. A non interventionist government means: no Internet (Pentagon creation), no computers, no lasers, no drugs. All the initial and substantial investments for all these things came out of the state sector.

Anyway, what's the goal of free markets? Well, according to Adam Smith: under conditions of perfect liberty ya get perfect equality.

  • @chronDiggity Did you try to get on today? or are you going to try this comming week?

  • Thumbs up if you could have thrashed these objections had you been the one on the phone.

  • This guy clearly has no education at least on government functionality and economics 101.

I almost can't believe this caller, I almost think Sam set this up because its just too easy and he's too ignorant. I feel sadness for him honestly

  • @fububalla I really doubt he would ever take a call from anyone that would make him look stupid.

  • @paradoarify

there's no screener for this show. anyone can call in. he encourages libertarians to call. he has said he would like a smart libertarian to call. It's just that there aren't any. to be libertarian is to be stupid.

  • @cciemail Stupid fuck. You do realize your fucked up unelected bureaucracies gave weaposn to the mexican mafia, got bribes from major banks (Wells Fargo bribed SEC to get off the hook for a billion dollar Mexican Mafia deal) yeah, your regulators are great. Dumb mother fucker. Shit didn't change until vigilante justice took hold and the people began doing bankruns. Libertarianism = justice of the masses through boycott. Democrats = more god forsaken unelected bureaucracies.

    Dumb ass.

  • @cciemail To be a democrat is to be a cock sucking cum guzzling dumbass who licks the scrotum of supreme government overlords because you think they are your god and savior even when they are caught with their pants down and with their hand in the cookie jar.

    Fuck you

  • @noyouaintgettingit You are the most aggressive paultard i ever seen.

  • Sam, you wasted 15 minutes with a moron. 'That's part of life, part of the real world, where forces of nature always win and you have the freedom to get crushed by faulty work.'

  • Buildings fall in Haiti because it is piss poor and they don't have money for any viable infrastructure despite all the welfare they receive from foreign tax payers.

  • @ShatterNWO

your argument is wrong and stupid just on the face of it, and there's no proof for it. but let me give you a counter-example anway: Mexico. That's a poor country where they have building codes, and they often have earthquakes near Mexico City, which is a heavily populate city, and they don't have thousands of deaths from earthquakes, like Haiti.

  • @cciemail New Orleans had a lot of building codes. San Fran had a lot of building codes in 89. No building codes doesn't mean no liability. Mexico is a lot richer than Haiti.

  • @cciemail You are arguing with someone named "ShatterNWO". He believes that there is a vast conspiracy or "New World Order" that is the result of governments conspiring to control business, not the result of big business conspiring to control government. You're wasting your breath.

  • @TheAAAAARRRRGGGG Yes, because if gov't didn't put words on pieces of paper ppl wouldn't care about their own property any more.

  • RE: Building codes; its simple, dont buy a house without due dillegence. if you chose to buy a cheap, poorly made house, that is the risk you take. if you want insurance you would pay more, and private companies could examine houses for safety. not to mention houses would be way cheaper.

socialists are the ones in a fantasy land where supply and demand do not exist, and where the pricing mechanism doesnt matter.

remember that liberal used to mean libertarian before it went sour.

  • @22jefferson22 What about public building & skyscrapers? Hey! that company has the gat dang Freeedumb to build a building that might collapse & kill a shitload of people! All of the people that building falls on should have have more personal responsibility & researched that building before going near it. If they don't understand the schematics, they are too dumb to be free. They should have got an engineering degree.

  • Every single libertarian I've debated has fallen into one three categories. They're either:

    A) delusional.

    B) a sociopath.

    C) terminally retarded.

    .

I have yet to find an exception. Not one.

  • @47f0 eSPECIALLY THE PAULTARDS WORST KIND OF LIBERTARIANS.

  • @darknight651 Tell me though, what are you? An Obamatard? Because your glorious black jesus bombed school children in Sirte, Libya.

    Fucktard.

  • LOLZ...Libertarian trying to defend himself.

  • Yes, the strict building codes in L.A. keep their skyscrapers from collapsing. "Earthquakes causing buildings to collapse is life".... WOW! Well I guess it is, if they are built in a manner that they can't withstand a typical earthquake in the area they are built. "We are individuals, in a society" Which is it? Individuals? Or members of a society? You Paul Tards better not just spam, & troll this comment section. Call in, & make a fool of yourself like Ben did. Lets hear your stupid voices.

  • @Friedstuffsable How about individuals with the power to choose which societies they want to be a apart of if any. Why not have options? You don't have to force me to join your group in order to do positive things.

  • @ShatterNWO This is the society you were born in. If you don't like it, go live in the woods, in a shack like Ted Kaczynski. If you don't want help, stop driving on the public roads. Don't allow the fire dept to put out your house. & hey, fuck the C.P.S. Kids who have junkie parents should have "The Personal Responsibility" to rise above. You know what else? get rid of the NRC. Energy companies can do what they want with their used fuel rods, whatever is cheapest for them.

  • @Friedstuffsable Ted K. was the result of CIA mind control experiments gone wrong.(or right?) But that's what neo-cons say when liberals object to the wars or the patriot act, "oh you don't like it...MOVE." The fire department could easily be privatized like pest control. In some states (Florida) children are more likely to be abused once they are under CPS control. Plus there are less junkies in countries with out a gov't war on drugs.

  • @ShatterNWO You don't have to move. Just don't take part in the infrastructure that you claim to despise. Go be a fuckin' vagabond. Things like air traffic, nuclear energy, building codes, water safety, the highway system, disposal of toxic waste, food cleanliness. These things are not going to just work themselves out in the free market. This "free for all" fantasy is just that, a fantasy. Private enterprise can't take over everything.

  • @Friedstuffsable I don't despise infrastructure, I just don't think ppl need to be robbed to build it. Simply saying it won't work itself out, isn't an argument.

  • @ShatterNWO So would the community donate to the "Build a highway fund"? Or would there be child protection volunteers? Maybe Bill's fire service. He charges by the gallon of water used to put out the fire. Speaking of water.. There will also be a local business that takes water out of the river & filters it for you, but there won't be any agencies to make sure they do it correctly. Ben here 3:23 has the freedom to "Have diarrhea in his water" LOL! That is too much freedom for me.

  • @Friedstuffsable If the "community" wanted to, or maybe mass transit becomes less relevant in the future, who knows. That's why central planning doesn't work, it can't foresee advancements in technology and culture that makes the plans less relevant.

  • @ShatterNWO yOU ARE RON PAUL SUPPORTER RIGHT?

  • I've heard a more cogent rebuttal to the building code argument and it's like this: "Well, in a free market a contractor whose buildings fall down will eventually stop getting customers and go out of business."

Here's why that's BS: Because the events that take a building down (fire, bombing, or natural disaster) are so rare that by the time it falls down the contractor already has 50 more projects done and is swimming in money. He's gonna let the next ceo worry about the firm.

  • @trajan74 All those building codes in NY didn't stop the towers from falling. Why would those fires or bombs or natural disasters spare a building from falling just because there are laws on paper?

  • The caller is either a troll, bored, or disturbed.

I don't think it does service to the issue by entertaining people like this. It's more beneficial to spend time on people who give challenging and thought provoking arguments. It allows both sides to learn something new (or approach the issues in a new way), and either change their stances or to stay consistent and defend the argument in a better way.

  • that caller should run for president on the gop ticket!

  • I'm from California and this guy embarrasses me.

  • Typical paultard.

  • pwnd

  • Sam, you could make a cavalcade of all the liberetarian replies to your questions. Just use one clipp of you posing for example the diarrhea question, and then all the liberetarian answers to that in rapid succession. Perhaps with the added sound effect of canned laughter and cartoon comedy music? I think that would make an epic video.

  • This guy needs to get out of his parent's basement. What a fucking moron.

  • I bet if something did happen to him he'd be the first to run to the govt asking for help. It's easy to be all macho about it, like Sam said, when things probably won't happen to you. But when it does.... But yeah just so funny to me imo.

  • @LittlePinky82 If something happened to him, it was probably the result of gov't intervention.

  • HAHAHAHA... This guy is so clueless, not very different from other libertarians, so interesting to hear them struggle to make a coherent argument

  • I have a message for Ben from the father of the Constitution that some Libertarians seem so fond of but, apparently only the Ron Paul version & not the actual work nor those who were thoughtful enough to create it. "If men were angels,no government would be necessary." James Madison.

  • @braithmorgan The founding fathers clearly didn't get everything right. A bunch of slave owners who violated the document they created when they got into power.

  • IT'S ALL MAN MADE

    I'm man made.

  • I will NOT, I repeat, NOT give up my freedom to drink poisonous water. I love, love, LOVE having diarrhea. Dirty water is DELICIOUS!

  • This was fucking hilarious. Thanks for uploading, Sam. Peace

  • this guy on the phone is a moron

  • @xadam2dudex Aren't all libertarians just moron's like this dude?

  • This caller is so deluded.

At 6:30 a fantasy world is mentioned, and whats meant is this world where they try to picture no regulations.

But its all being thought up from the convenience of a world made convenient by government.

We have history where there was less before gov stepped in. And countries with barely any gov, or just warlords and warring tribes.

Not to say gov is perfect, but that gov is practical and he admits his life is made more convenient by these practicalities.

  • @waltermh111 The caller seems to be saying, and he admits to it, that life doesnt matter. If you cant take care of yourself, just go die, he doesnt care

If your not the lucky one to get charity help before the funds run out, too bad for you, your life is meaningless and worthless

Theres no building codes sometimes and we shouldnt have them because life is about risk

But this is where gov is practical, because we want to mitigate risks as much as possible and not live on the edge like him

  • @waltermh111 Humans are individuals in the technical sense, but in the evolutionary sense we are social creatures, heavily so.

Government is our communal way of making our lives more convenient and better.

Every advent that has lengthened human life is through government.

But this caller, like so many, doesnt care because life is about accepting risks and not mitigating them unless you can get enough people to agree to it, lets hope there are enough bright people and not enough that disagree.

  • @waltermh111 The fact that government is our communal way of getting along would explain a lot of man kind's problems. Gov't through genocide and war has killed more ppl than any other group.

  • @waltermh111 these idiots in the libertarian movement want to go back to the wild west days.. they have this fantasy of being out in the mountains living alone with ur horse and ur gun.. they live in a fantasy world that can't exist anymore there is no wild west no unexplored territory not until we come up with interstellar travel at least then u know it will be corporate / government controlled gulag ..we can only hope the technology gets out ..maybe wikileaks will still be around

  • @waltermh111 Countries with war lords and warring tribes have more regulations and restrictions than the average country. Plus they are usually under imperialist control by big gov'ts like the US or former Soviet Union and England. Just because someone is a war lord or a tribe leader, it doesn't make them more anarchal than a president or prime minister.

  • So essentially according to Ben, Libertarians are eternally of the mind set of selfish 8 year old child.

  • There are only 2 ways you get a middle class (and NO it doesn't just 'happen' as a country gets richer) 1) Unions (collective bargaining) - PROTECTED BY GOVERNMENT. 2) Taxing the wealthy (again by government). NO GOVERNMENT NO MIDDLE CLASS and a TRYANY OF THE ELITE! These people are INSANE...

  • @StunnedByStupidity So all of these royal families, war lords and war profiteers are products of the free market.

  • @StunnedByStupidity Gov't protection of Unions is only necessary when going up against corps with gov't protection.

  • @ShatterNWO NO ITS NOT - look wriggle all you want your ideology is complete BOLLOCKS. Corporations HATE unionisation and if they could get away with it they would fire those who unionise - the government STOPS (in theory - Reagan informed them he would not prosecute them) this. And government has been corrupted BY LIBERTARIANISM - then you INSANE fruit cakes say we dont like what capitalism has become - well free markets ALWAYS lead to corruption and wealth concentration - WAKE UP!

  • @StunnedByStupidity Simply firing your workforce every time they wanted to unionize would cost too much. You'd have to keep re-training ppl. Plus employers have to compete for labor, so those who alienate skilled laborers will feel the effecs. How has gov't been corrupted by libertarianism when it is 100 times bigger than it was when Washington took office? The corruption in the markets is a direct result of gov't intervention.

  • @ShatterNWO Another thing with the bat shit crazy libertarians is thier inability to grasp that IN ALL CASES empiricism TRASHED rationalism. The FACTS are that companies fire people for unionising (it has happened to me!), Walmart have a team that flies around by private jet doing it, Reagan allowed the air traffic controllers to do it. And it's like you are 5 years old. NEOLIBERALISM is LIBERTARIAN it has concentrated wealth, stagnated wages, corrupted government&CAUSED THE CRASH
