This concert has never been officially released. I have no idea why- the sound quality is perfectrion and they are clearly performing at the top of their game here. I have this show on a bootleg dvd and play it all the time. An amazing show that never gets old. And for all the people on here wondering- Patton is drunk here. If you look closely you can see him going back and forth to the drum riser during the show and pouring himself a drink from a bottle that is clearly not water.

an alternative to download is going to one of the fests in austria theyre playing at, the entrance is like 110 euro so with a cheap flight it might end up about the same. nova rock the festival was called i think. its got loads of great bands.

I noticed John Hudson hardly ever improvises, it's always the exact same melody as on the album versions. Surely he could have done something a bit more funky/jazzy or whatever in that short solo and not play it note for note as on the album.

I don't know why you all say that Faith no More was hated or ignored. Maybe by the mainstream, yeah.. but these were fans. Didn't you hear their cheering and whatnot? Mike encouraged people to throw shit at him and whatnot. In fact, at one show, he even told everyone in the audience to try to spit in his mouth, and opened his mouth for them. He'd ask them to throw garbage on stage, and would find something out of it and eat it. He was nuts. It has nothing to do with FnM being disliked.

it goes back to '92 when they opened for guns n roses and metallica. that was a long show to be at and people were impatient so they threw stuff at FNM but Patton showed them right away that it didn

There's a double DVD release of Live @ Brixton, and all the videos, including Easy, Evidence, and Ashes to Ashes. I have it. It's damn good.

I wouldn't go as far as to say they were "hated" just ignored. The type of writing they did post 95' wouldnt become popular until 2000 lol. Actually, funny little tid bit - listen to the drum interlude from the song "From out of nowhere" by FNM when he says "you came from out of nowhere, my glance turns to as stare" then listen to the chorus drum part of "There goes my hero" by Foo Fighters...same thing.

Ignored is right: The music is so diverse, that from a record company's perspective - marketing and packaging the group as one specific genre would be way to hard. Ergo they weren't promoted much and your average Joe just wouldn't get the idea of a band that nobody has told them to like.

It makes me sick that such an influential band slipped away into relative obsucrity, while sickly, inelegant crap like 'The Killers' and 'Seether' sell millions of records.

I was there too. When the camera man got given the hat, he dropped it behind him and I grabbed a security guy to get it for me and he did! Unfortunately, what then happened was much partying Phoenix Festival style, a train journey, waking up in a town too far north for where I should have been and going from hat on head to hat missing. FNM were fecking superb and I am so pleased I got to see them live before the split. I miss them and want them back.
