Saw them finally on the NO EXIT tour in Santa Barbara, CA Debbie was chubby, she flubbed the vocals, always embellishes live and hatchets the song. I've YET to see her sing it straight - meaning, drop the crap embellishments and ad-lib crap. She can sing - but she chooses not to - to showboat - and the band SUFFERS.

Then we suffer as her audience cause, the SUCK LIVE and always have.

@TheFab19460 I love DH but your right. If you look through their yt video's there's lots of excellent live performances recorded but most are from the early 80's. The embelishing you speak of is probably because she cant get to some of the higher notes anymore. She has to refrase the song to sing it or her voice will drop out. Fitness plays a big part in singing. If she's over weight it'll affect note sustain and vocal power. I hate when she does it but i understand so i can forgive her. Cheers

Even the bands you chose where the same except i had Forigner instead REO. I never thought much of them, never bought their records either. Until i came across them on YT recently i never realised how stunningly beautiful she was in her time, how owesome and unique her singing voice was. Poorly managed band in the 80's

One thing though I'd give my right arm to be at the Isle of Wright festival..RIGHT NOW...Blondie already played unfortunately but it would be a kick to follow them around the U.K. and Ireland for a couple of weeks. I haven't been there since I was a kid...I've been listening to their music..My favorites I think are Shayla and Union City Blue..Very personal and touching..To think I lived right in the middle of Manhattan never saw them..ARGH!

blondie is so great live. harry is very comfortable performing. i am so glad i went to see the three originals. their set was soooooooooooooooo cool. this place does not honor a stage for such a show.......

this was a set to include many, many, bands - nothing to accentuate all the history in blondie recordings. this is not their gig at all. there is no set/backdrop. it is hard to realize how many great songs they did - a must see live . .
