About the drinking, I use to hit the bottle every 2 nights, mainly due to loneliness, I also have a high tolerance for alcohol, so I know what you mean. I'm sure you'll find your limit and be fine, I did and I'm glad I don't do it anymore because I feel so much better! Take care! - Barbs:)

Hi Nikki, I posted a reply but it didn't go thru, dammit! I hope your eyes are on the mend, I know what that's like I had that gritty feeling for ages not long ago, it wasn't too bad just conjunctivitis yuck! Good luck at your appointment!

Nikke, I'm so sorry your eyes are getting worse. I agree, I'd get a second opinon, it wouldn't hurt. I love margarittas, but after you and rebecca I think I'll stay way clear of them. Good Luck!

i don't plan on drinking again any time soon. i'm steering clear of EVERYTHING. it's just been really hard to find the fine line between being tipsy and drunk after surgery. it's still a learning process. and it sucks.

i'm going for a 2nd opinion on friday morning. at 7.30 am. UGH!!! but, hopefully he'll know what's up with my eyes. it's starting to piss me off.

I use to drink once in a while,but when I did drink, I wasn't kidding around. I would do some serious drinking. Until one day a friend pointed out to me that I was a binge drinker, and that binge drinking is a form of alcoholism. Well,I stopped. Now I drink maybe once or twice a year in moderation. I am not saying you are an alcoholic,just looking out for my friend. =)

Have you noticed a significant difference in your vision since surgery? Maybe it is a vitamin deficiency, or maybe to much of some other vitamin your taking on a regular basis. Just a thought. Oh and girl, please be careful with the BINGE drinking, cause thats what it is. Sad to say I use to do the same thing.

well, i drink when i have an opportunity. like.. i don't have anything to do the next morning or something. or to celebrate the end of a bad week. it's not that often. but, since surgery, i'm finding it hard to find the fine line between tipsy and drunk. i don't like to just get tipsy, but i HATE getting drunk. i just haven't learned my limit yet. i haven't gotten drunk all that often to say "x" number of drinks makes me this way.. because it varies every single time. blah. LOL.

So bad for your eyes!! I hope they'll find what is it! I remember one of my friend got a similar problem but to only one eyes it was due to a microscopic crack. For the alcohol, you can't ask your husband to be responsible when he does not stop you. You are responsible. The good thing is that you do not drink often, but watch out....

i know i'm responsible. but, it's so hard. and when he says something, i usually listen. SOMETIMES he can be the voice of reason. LOL.

wow. i drink 2 40s n im done or sum nights ill have to drink more to get drunk , i like to party or i drink if theres somethings wrong. i dont have friends who live by me ne more they all move so i have no one to talk to , so im happy for u if u dont ever drink..

Nikki, I was so sad to hear that your eyes are not getting any better! I was going to suggest maybe going to a specialist or another doctor!! (Someone with more knowledge) Eyes are nothing to not take care of...that is my biggest fear because my doc told me mine were worse again!! Please be sure to take care. Did you look at Wal-Mart for that Bauch and Lomb (sp) eye health vitamins!!?? My dad took them. Let me know!
