I was only 10 when I discovered Elton through the Lion King movie and have never looked back since. My children will have no choice lol as they will just grow up with Elton without realising. They'll be older and probably realise they love him :P

Well, as I know this song was composed by Elton John to help a friend of him, Ryan White because he was with AIDS and many people was accusing and spreading lies about him. When Elton's friend died, he decide to create a foundation to help another people with the same disease.

I really respect Sir Elton John not as a public person but as the humanitarian that he is.
