Pretty sure they used John Murphy's Sunshine and 28 Days later music as temp tracks and the test audiences loved the film so much that the Producers  became worried that the film might suffer if they totally changed the score. So they ended up using 4 composers. They brought MUrphy in to do a slight variation on those themes they were already using in the test track, including the one we all live from Sunshine. Another composer used this theme and did the Adagio. Great Film Great Score.
