that's about where I was 2 years ago except I was a little better at sweeping and I was starting to get cleaner at picking. Just dir45 said, just keep practicing all your scales, picking smoothly, and slowly on sweeps at first and you'll get there.

meh its alright. trying playign something that doesnt have sweeps. look up sonata arctica, they have pretty fast guitar with out much sweeping. try the song wolf and raven

if you want to play cob, you have to learn how to play sweeps...in the second guitar solo there are 3 sweep-arpeggios and in the final part there's a part only composed by sweep...if you can't play these choose another song...

no way to at all, work on your tonality, and take the reberb off though, i just listened and it sounds sort of like a hallway effect type thing

yea your picking hand is moving so much, look at famous all star type plays like laiho, or latvala, notice they dont move their wrist that much, you need to figure out a better way to move it.....but when i look at it, it's not that big of a problem=] some people are way worse and get their whole arm moving, tendanitis!

how long you been playing guitar? i got into bodom when i was about 10 lol, i didn't even dream about playing this well then, i've been playing since second grade, your gonna wanna minimize your hand movement though, your moving too much, that slows you down, althought you did pretty well, a little out of tune but that's ok
