Once my baby brother was like that, he likes it but after about 20 minuets he started to like, dream of kung fu or somethin, cause he'd start hitting the air then bring his arm all the way next to his head stop moving for a bit.Then bring it back really fast in a punching motion..Then he started crying because it was too hot in his '' Swaddle'' Because all the hot air was insulating and making him too hot and he went all red and his temperature went high. Thanks for trying too cook my brother.

The point of swaddling a baby is to make them feel warm and safe if you are unable to walk arould all day long with a baby in your arms. For the frist few weeks, being born into a world of lights, louder sounds, and colors can be scary! Swaddling comes in handly when you want to make the baby feel safe. This trick has been repeated for YEARS!

What is the point of swaddling? Don't babies want to be free to move? It's depressing seeing babies being tied up and cry. I think they don't like it. Babies should be free to move their arms and legs that's why they came out of their mother in the first place. They don't want to stay inside with limited movement.

I do not recommend those slings, getting a harness type holder that sits on your front is nice, but slings are not good for their necks and I saw recently in Target that a lot are recalled because of a big suffocation hazard! i'm glad I gave mine back to the consignment shop and got a harness!

People are so judgmental when it comes to mothers and babies. I stayed home with my babies and enjoyed them without a bunch of condemning people watching me. It's the only way to get some peace and feel good about yourself as a mother.

Maybe you could also put a fake hand ontop so they feel like they have company, play some music so it sounds like they are not alone and stick a pacifier in their mouth so they can pretend its their mothers breast. Maybe mothers need to look at how apes care for their young and stop pretending we aren't animals with animal needs.
