  • I love your videos! すごい!わたしも英語頑張りますw

  • Cute video ^_^ can't wait to see more!!

  • Your Japanese is great.

But you should use 早く instead of 速く.

The former means "soon" while the latter means "fast".

  • @mydearcassandra Thanks so much!! Haha these two kanji are the two that I ALWAYS mess up! I think I've made a mistake everytime I use them in my LIFE. Now I always get scared to write it and go back and forth about which one to use... but then ALWAYS GET IT WRONG! AHHHHHH. Hehe. =) Ganbarimasu!

Tokorode, I just looked at your channel and I really like it! I've subscribed so I won't miss what's next from you! :)

  • @kemushichan

Thanks for the sub :) You're the 200's subscriber on my channel.

Telling between those kanji may be trivial thing for beginners.

But I pointed it out since I thought you were undoubtedly an advanced learner.

  • @mydearcassandra Ohh!!! Yay!

  • @adshap8 Oh! And the lighting in this room at the time was terrible so this video is actually REALLY dark but i color/whitebalanced like no other... でも証拠残ってたもんね~

  • There is a lot of Japanese words I know how to use but don't EXACTLY know what they mean...like "jishichuu". I mean, I heard it enough times to know how to use it and approximately what it means, but if you asked me to explain, I wouldn't know where to start. Well, I do know the chuu part...in the process of. Whats 'jishi'?

  • @gxcad haha seriously. Its like... to Run or .... ugh... *looks it up*... AHHH "implement" or "carry out" ...like fancy word for "doing something planned..."

  • @iamredapple1993 WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

  • Okay, i finally registered and ready to play the waiting game.lol Good luck everyone!!

  • @JCarrollG2 WOOOOOOOOO

  • Congratulations, Jasmine! Love the contests @ Kemushi. It's really gonna make us want to study more just for the fun of it. And who knows, we might even learn something along the way.

  • Haha, 'desu wa.' :]

First non native speaker I've heard say that. You are cute. n_n

  • @Dyakki Hehe oops! Yeah... I don't remember where I picked it up but I tend to imitate people really well...

  • @kemushichan 'Desuwa' is almost certainly an anime...?

  • @gxcad an anime???

  • It's OK, it's cute. n_n

  • I'm pretty sure I sent an e-mail, but I don't think I gave all the right information. SHould I resend?

  • You are such a great YouTuber! I really enjoy watching your vids, Thanks for sharing with us as always. I liked this video as well, because you are so kind and you really show how much you care about others learning about Japan and it's culture. That is a very admirable quality you possess. Thank you for so many contests! (not entering this one, just wanted to comment on how awesome you are)

  • @FindMeInKurume Thank you so much for the support! I'm pretty sure you're automatically entered into this contest anyway but there are BOATloads of new entries so your chances of winning are pretty competitive anyway :). • @gare7171 AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH kanji fail! >< this is why I shouldn't subtitle late at night!!!

  • It's nice seeing a young American speaking a foreign langauge. I wish I had time to improve my Japanese, but I have started a Chinese (Mandarin) class at my uni, which to some ppl's surprise is nothing like Japanese, not even a little bit. Hehe. I will eventually move back to Japanese, I have to my in-laws are Japanese. Well, I love your vids keep it up!!

  • @wordzworth5th thank you! And congratulations on your new class! I remember how excited I and other students were when new languages became available on campus! You're doing a great thing!

    John.lol

  • @JCarrollG2 too busy for great things? Ohhhhh boo!

  • The cookbook sounds really interesting. I'd feel a bit strange signing up. I think I'd rather someone who is just learning Japanese win.

  • @JaydeeVonJ well, you have until March to decide!!! =)

  • @JaydeeVonJ Plus, if you're interested in Japanese culture these would be great to have too!

  • ...always impressed with your prowess as a confident speaker of Mandarin. Indeed, it fuels my own ambitions.

  • @theleftflank Thank you for the nice comment! But.... it's Japanese!!!

  • @kemushichan You know what!? I just realized that when I visited your page. My sister will be so unheavenly disappointed, as she's corrected me dozens of times before. Sheeeesh! Ok then :-)
