If you read his powerpoint and go through it you find that the oldest tree is 5000 years old. This among many other reasons that he points out is very solid evidence that the flood happened, and that would mean that the Bible is true. Also, if you research carbon dating, it is flawed beyond imagination, same with radiometric dating.

Also, a global would fossilize all those animals in one layer. Not the case obviously. A global flood also doesn't match with the detail layers. Also, no evidence from ice cores of a global flood either. Natural deposits forming today has nothing to do with what you're proposing.
