I got the book Monarchy by him, it is good. Not quite as dull as most history books.

THERE WAS NEVER A RED ROSE FOR the illigetimate Lancastrians. It was not called the war of the Roses but the Cousins War. Henry Tudor dome from a line of bastards. True, both RII and Hedry (Earl of Derby) legitimized then but with th EXPRESS condition that they should never ascent to the throne! As far as I know the Yorks descended from Edmund of Langley, 1st Duke of York, 7th child & 4th son of Edward III & Philippa of Hainault, while the Lancasters descended from Edward III's 6th child & 4th son, John of Gaunt who married heiress Blanche of Lancaster, who brought with her the considerable lands of the Earls of Leicester and Lancaster. Neither houses were illigitimate offsprings! If I'm wrong, please tel me "the truth"!
