I dont think a ton of people play the multiplayer. the multiplayer IS fun when you want to play with others. but Bioshock was meant to be a single player game and the game itself doesnt have a small community. only the multiplayer. it was just kind of a mess up. its fun. but not as fun as single player.

I heard rumors over forums it was basically dead but that was just a rumor. In all honesty I feel it was because of the Games For Windows Live deal. Which requires a subscription like Xbox Live. (They are both the same subscription so if you have Xbox Live you have Games For Windows Live.

@detroit559 At the time I played it on PC. I switched to 360 after running into quite a some aimbots. I don't know if Games for Windows Live is still plagued with it. I got a good deal on my 360 copy from a friend for another game I had he wanted. But I am not playing on Live at the moment. Been invested into The Witcher games.
Cant wait to fight a Handyman and see if i can blast it clean over the edge. I also wish Infinite would have online cuz how fun would it be to ride on a Skyline and whack your freind off with a wrench? Or throw someone off? Or even just fighting them in that beautiful setting?
After Bioshock Infinite, they will probably return to Rapture cuz i think they might completely destroy Columbia (A war on a city held up by balloons? How long would you expect it to last and how much better could it be than dropping it at the end?). Then they will probably try something on land, a bit more normal with its own craziness. Ive never played any Bioshock but i think they all look amazing and are extremely well written.

@bobotttabc123 Bioshock Infinite looks like a complete different game world with some familiar themes. I highly recommend you at least play the original Bioshock. But you really don't have to. Infinite is pretty much going it's own way and I doubt it will reference Bioshock 1 or 2 all that much.

@priestskorge At first I felt Bioshock Infinite wasn't gonna be all great when I saw the first trailer about it but I was so wrong. Seeing the 15 min gameplay trailer changed my mind. It immediately went on my (high priority) list for games I will be buying. Bioshock Infinite (Obviously), Assassin's Creed Revelations, The Elder Scrolls : Skyrim, Modern Warfare 3 (This one could wait for me but my g/f is a huge CoD fan and I would get many lashings upon my back if I did not get it for her)
@priestskorge Then Batman Arkham City and if possible Rage. I just loved Arkham Asylum so much. By far in my opinion the best super hero game I have ever played. I did everything I could in that game. Also interested in Gears of War 3, Dead Island, L.A. Noire. But those games will have to come later. As I've already said. These other games are my high priority to get at the moment.

I wish the Bouncer would have made it in but I am not game developer and perhaps they had good reasons or couldn't figure out how to balance it in multiplayer be the release date deadline. I think I know why they didnt put the bouncer in, Cuz it only has melee. Like think of it. You could easily stop something if its trying to melee you if you know what you are doing. Sure bouncers can charge but all in all it wouldn be good. THEN THE RUMBLER, 1 word why it didnt get put in. Overpowered. or is it 2? :L
@bloxtoz I had a similar opinion when people first started asking about it. While in some way I could see Bouncers working. In another I couldn't. You can charge but what happens when your opponent has high ground on you? Your pretty much screwed. They can attack freely while you sit waving your drill at them making the Big Daddy mating call. You would have to run up whatever stairs or whatever way to get to them. While the Rosie can immediately counter it because it can do damage at range
@bloxtoz The problem for a Rumbler is it can hard-countered by the Telekinesis plasmid. The heat seeking missiles as well as mini-turrets can be grabbed and thrown at it. Playing against other players as a Rumbler would require you to get lucky and come across someone without the above plasmid or just blind side the player by surprise which would be devastating for the player. But being sneaky isn't exactly what the Big Daddy does. lol - Still it would have been a lot of fun!

But unfortunately I don't have live at the moment. I've been grinding single player games for a while. @MrAdventuretimeshow It's very much possible. You just have to play it smart and look out for the proximity grenades or whatever. Guerrilla tactics or especially if you can run around circles where it blocks line of sight. For example I had once where I could keep running back and forth. I eventually left PC Bioshock 2 behind and went to the 360 because of hackers. Aim Bot + Elephant Gun = Retarded Insane. It's not near as bad on the 360 about hacks but it's still there.
@InfectedMite on the 360 or ps3 alot of people either use the crossbow with damage increase with headhunter or electro bolt then elephant gun to get an osk (one shot kill) it's very annoying and should be nerfed

@lklklkkkl Well, the Big Daddy you play as in single player is a prototype. But from what I saw he is actually just as big as the others. You can tell when you fight another Big Daddy in single player to retrieve the Little Sister.
what they should of had is were there are 3 different servers each with same game modes. But there is one that you can play as Rosie on, Bouncer, and Rumbler. It would be a bit more but it would actually probabally bring in more players online.
I think all 3 Big Daddies should be playable in multiplayer, as the bouncer you would be given the drill and have drill dash as an ability as well as basic melee and drill spinning, as the Rumbler you would be given a rumbler cannon that can fire the basic 3 types of ammo (grenades mines and rockets) and 3 mini-turrets to throw. How awesome would that be...but then again that might be an unfair advantage for the team with the big daddy, unless both teams could each get there own suit.
That's because your a regular Rosie Big Daddy, and we don't have bouncers because balancing it for multiplayer would be rough considering everyone else has ranged attacks and you wouldn't.

@MrAdventuretimeshow It's very much possible. You just have to play it smart and look out for the proximity grenades or whatever. Guerrilla tactics or especially if you can run around circles where it blocks line of sight. For example I had once where I could keep running back and forth. I eventually left PC Bioshock 2 behind and went to the 360 because of hackers. Aim Bot + Elephant Gun = Retarded Insane. It's not near as bad on the 360 about hacks but it's still there.

@InfectedMite on the 360 or ps3 alot of people either use the crossbow with damage increase with headhunter or electro bolt then elephant gun to get an osk (one shot kill) it's very annoying and should be nerfed

also in addition to being able to play as the bouncer and rumbler, they should have assigned a button so that you could "roar" at your foes.

@FelixCarther - It was the first day of release so I imagine quite a bit of the players were noob including myself as it was my first game. I just pick up faster than others I suppose with control schemes. lol

@lklklkkkl Well, the Big Daddy you play as in single player is a prototype. But from what I saw he is actually just as big as the others. You can tell when you fight another Big Daddy in single player to retrieve the Little Sister.

what they should of had is were there are 3 different servers each with same game modes. But there is one that you can play as Rosie on, Bouncer, and Rumbler. It would be a bit more but it would actually probabally bring in more players online.

I think all 3 Big Daddies should be playable in multiplayer, as the bouncer you would be given the drill and have drill dash as an ability as well as basic melee and drill spinning, as the Rumbler you would be given a rumbler cannon that can fire the basic 3 types of ammo (grenades mines and rockets) and 3 mini-turrets to throw. How awesome would that be...but then again that might be an unfair advantage for the team with the big daddy, unless both teams could each get there own suit.

That's because your a regular Rosie Big Daddy, and we don't have bouncers because balancing it for multiplayer would be rough considering everyone else has ranged attacks and you wouldn't.
