It's quite funny to watch videos like this further down the line. Windows Mobile didn't keep up with the times; they kept rehashing old legacy code and it started to show its age when OS like Android And iOS arrived. I was a huge Windows Mobile fan, but as my expectations moved forward Windows Mobile didn't. HTC tried their best to skin it to make the experience easier but you can't polish a turd: no matter how shiny you make it it is STILL a turd. This is why MS dumped the OS and moved to WP7

you obviously do not know how 2 use da htc. htc has a full qwerty keyboard and touch pad plus touch screen which as iphone has limited featues. htc software can be updated and can also have the iphone software. the only thing dat lacks about htc is dat it is bulky. iphone looks better but performance is not dat good as htc.

Even the Iphone 3G seems to run so much smoother than the HTC Touch Pro. If it was Iphone 3GS v.s HTC Touch Pro, Iphone 3GS would win hands down. It's just so much more easy and so much smoother than the HTC touch Pro.

I've had my touch pro for about 8 months. However, after playing with a friend new iphone3gs I have buyer's remorse. The fluidity of this new iphone is amazing compared to my touch pro. Another big gap between the two is the new video capability of the iphone puts the htc touch pro to shame. The touch pro video is almost like stop motion any fast movement is blurred or jagged. The iphone looks like someone really used a camcorder to record.

I owned both an HTC Mogul and a HTC Touch Pro, both were very well made phones, but after using an iPhone 3GS you truly realize how smooth and perfect it runs at all times. Windows Mobile is much more capable than any iphone in terms of 3rd party apps, but those apps are generally crappy and can potentially make your phone run slower. Thats not an issue with the iphone considering most of their apps are managed on their website. Of all the smartphones out there Windows runs the worst.

actually its faster, the os for the iphone is a lot different then windows mobile and wm has a lot more programs and functions, plus the programs can run in the background of other programs and to make this fair he should have closed out the programs and have one open on each like the iphone.

also the iphone just now has video capability??? and just not has more then 200mb of ram....thats bs

this phone is truly impressive. still...i cant get over just how cool the iPhone is, despite its major drawbacks like no camera flash or video capability. and the screen size and quality of the iPhone still cant be beat. one drawback of the HTC is the stylus. i KNOW id lose that at least once a week.

its been proven that the touch pro from europe has a much slower response time than that of sprint, an american carrier. the sprint version is the fastest you can get, plus has few more megs of ram and rom

I have a Verizon HTC Touch Pro, and love it WAY more than the iPhone. The iPhone's keyboard is way to small and hard to text on and then text box is really small too. Windows mobile has so much potential for apps. There are already millions of apps out there for Windows mobile, before the iphone was even thought of. Yeah the iPhone is better multimedia wise, but when it comes to performance and putting on a show, the HTC Touch Pro really kicks butt.

hey denmark.... uhhhhh no offense but in the video you favored it with what you showed. you didnt show all of what the htc touch pro can do. i have the htc touch pro for sprint and uhh... well it RAPES the iphone. i have used both phones and i love the iphone and all. but htc takes the cake. but i will give the iphone the advantage when it comes to the interface. i like the glass screen better and its a little more responsive. but still htc rules.

I have the HTC Touch Pro. I love it. Its just that its still a Windows Mobile phone and WinMo reacts a bit slower. But i still believe that WinMo can do way more than the Iphone.

Whatever cell service you are using, their ROM on the htc touch pro must be really slow. I have the verizon ROM and its lightning fast. so "perfers" whatever phone you want, but the HTC Touch Pro kicks butt.
