@SnazzyEchoman Late oroshi on his wakeup beats regular headbutts and makes ex whiff. Also beats ex dash punches, but loses to regular wakeup dash punches and wakeup jabs. You can use oroshi to make other specials whiff in a similar way if their hitboxes aren't low enough. Like Gouken's ex tatsu.
I don't think respecting dp in the first match was the problem. Once you start waiting him out you let him push you to the corner with fireballs. Maybe low tsurugi over some fireballs to keep you from moving back so much while keeping up with meter.
Good matches! You do a few too many accidental dps though, and not just in the Ryu match. I was also expecting more tk flip-kick in your blockstrings.
You did really well with the Balrog match, you used some great okizeme tools and the opponent didn't adapt very well.
U2 for Shotos .. When you get it, they start to think to think twice before throwning fireballs all the time .. Then you can get in more easily rather than waiting for them to jump ;)
I play Makoto too, and I'm average at best .. I don't think that all of her match ups are bad .. Most of the matches are pretty fun no matter what the opponent is .. I'm having a lot of difficulties though against Guiles and Cammys ..
@Nickand19 Disagree. U2 is too slow to give up all the utility of U1 for. Maybe I'll use U2 in AE though. When I have a life lead against someone that's playing a pure zoning game and wait for them to get impatient and do something dumb I can punish, I'm usually just trolling for the most part. It'll work on lesser players, but better players will be able to slowly eat at my life lead without putting themselves in too much danger unless I try to get in.
@KillerPoPBlues01 I think she has more 5/5 matches than anything, but more 4/6s than 6/4s. I think she does have a small handful of favorable matches though. I think she beats Blanka for sure, *maybe* 2 or 3 other characters. She's probably low tier at this point, but I definitely don't think she's at the bottom of the bottom like some tier lists say.
