I ♥ Whales they are magnificent creatures to bad over 1,000 whales are hunted and killed each year for their meat and fins. The Japanese whalers will kill the whale drag aboard their boat cut of their fins for a special soup and through the rest of the whale back into the ocean letting it die slowly and painfully.

Considering that this was -made- to be set to 'The Pines of Rome', the club music does alright. It's not going to be the same at all, but there are places where it syncs up pretty well. I wouldn't necessarily call it a sacrilege.

I just wish it was a DJ a bit better than Tiesto. He's okay, but not spectacular.

I actually think this music is better. The original music is too hysterical and loud, I think. It's a good piece, but it doesn't suit a whale. Whales are calm, peaceful, gentle animals. Not symphonic, bombastic creatures. Sigur Ros suits them much better than The Pines Of Rome.

definitely a step down from the original, and the first song falls into the typical techno trap of "all beat, no melody." They are too transient to portray what the visuals show. the second song is a little better, but never climaxes the way the original did, and the last note grates on my nerves like nails on a chalkboard.
