  • irony is that this game was made by british people

  • 3 people didn't have any ammunition passed to them.

  • DAMN U MAFIA II U GOT BE HOOKED ON THIS SOOONG!!!!

  • this needs to be the new national anthem

  • I'm sorry, but your description misleads. This song was made in 1942, and inspired by the attack on pearl harbor not by Bioshock 2

  • @notusingaccount The soundtrack is entitled Bioshock 2 (Official Soundtrack: Music from and Inspired By the Game). Maybe be a little less ignorant when trying to indoctrinate youtube with knowledge.

  • @notusingaccount You're absolutely correct!

  • Thank you BioShock for exposing this kind of music to youngsters who would have missed out on this getting-ready-to-be-forgotten generation. I am glad this kind of music is favored by a great number and will be likely to pass on through the next generations of stories and samples of a listen to masterpiece artefacts of the age. BLESS YOU

  • ......1930 patriots made this song.

  • Two people didn't pass the ammunition

  • Nothing like some good ol' WWII propaganda,,,

  • It plays in Mafia 2 as well

  • 2 persons disliked this song

  • @Mrevolution573 Three persons now disliked this song

  • @Mrevolution573 would u kindly kill them

  • This is THE most epic (And appropriate) song! :D

  • PRAISE THE LORD! AND PASS THE AMMUNITION! GOD WANTS YOU TO GO TO WAR!

  • @SHARDK2 epic comment is epic.

  • 1 person didn't praise the Lord and pass the Ammunition!

  • HEY!! they play this song during one of the protector trials in Persephone

  • I imagine Patton marching through his headquarters with his ivory gripped SAA holstered to his side to the beat of this song.

  • If you don't know the history of the song here it is. In 1941 when pearl harbor was bombed the chaplain on the battleship Arizona came on deck and saw the Japanese planes. He couldn't shoot at them since he was a chaplain, so he said praise the lord and pass the ammunition to the sailors.

  • @zleverette im sorry the chaplain did fire at the Japanese planes.

  • @zleverette cool story bro :)

  • Hey this song was in Jungle Drums in Max Fliecher's Superman =D

  • Guy not singing: Uh guys, were out of ammunition.

    Main signer:... FUCK

  • Mega, you just became epic in my book. I mean, you used gold armor, that takes skill.

  • thnx for the post..i used this song to motivate myself against 3 creepers and 5 skeletons wearing gold armour and using a wooden sword i won with 3 hearts to spare

  • @MegaMostawesome Nice job, now triple that and put it on youtube XD so great job

  • this music was around long before this game

  • Star spangled banner has nothing on this.

  • this song reminds me of my grandfather and his ammount of guns and ammo that he could open a gun shop

  • The same reason people misspell Fallout FallOut.

  • serj tankian made a kinda cover of this song, thats why i found this!!!

  • why the hell does Vdownloader not work on something that is this old.. Saying Sony has rights to this.. THATS B.S

  • @ibmer23 You want this song?.

  • Mafia II. Just started playing it last night and was listening to this song on my cars radio. =P

  • slayy the lord...

  • @ufoforestgump Now thats not very nice.

  • @BobCrane787 no no its "and pass the ammunition"

  • @SinclairDelux Fuck no! There was this thing called the first amendment...

  • I'm just a Kay Kyser fan... :0

  • Good music to listen to whilst placing rivets in factory B-17s. XD

  • Fontaine disliked this video

  • =/ I liked the Fallout radio soundtracks for some reason. There is something absolutely charming about Mr. New Vegas.

  • this was on the radio omg i love this song idk why

  • thumbs up if mafia II also brought you here

  • @derekjtg In fact it was both Mafia II and Bioshock 2.

  • I prefered BS2, but the ending really needed some big epic bossfight like in BS.

  • @FireOps I disagree, I think more games should be realistic like BioShock 2, there are no big fights, just constant attacks and challenges.

  • @SparklyRedDrop I like how you associate the word "realistic" with Bioshock. A game where you can shoot bees out of your hands and that fills every plothole with a paste of ADAM

  • @FireOps I meant that by storyline relationships, this game is fantasy anyway, so you cannot be pissy on the 'realistic' word really.

I was just saying how it kept it as close to life as possible by not throwing in a 8000% HP end boss with infinite EVE and ADAM, those things really ruin the endings - like BioShock 1, as good as it was BioShock 2 had more emotional content and what you were doing felt more realistic if there ever was an underwater city called Rapture ;)

  • @SparklyRedDrop I still don't agree with you about bosses ruining games, but I understand your arguments. And do agree that BS2 felt more realistic. I always found it slightly stupid that your character just rams a huge needle in his arm just because some guy on the radio tells him to. And that he is doing all the stuff without questioning. I, myself, would freak the hell out finding an underwater city.

Playing as a big daddy gives not only an objective, but also makes everything more believable

  • @FireOps As weird as it is I wouldn't be that freaked out :P There is probably already a city like this somewhere (minus advanced science and technologies such as Plasmids maybe lol) but I find it hard to believe with such a vast ocean of water on Earth that no one has tried yet - there must be a mad bunch of people who tried or is trying to build one somewhere!.

As for the bosses; I suppose that's just personal preference, but I think changing the way games work is new and positive = evolution.

  • @FireOps Would you kindly remember BioShock's endgame plot twist?

  • @CronoManiac42 Oh my goodness, you spelt BioShock correctly :o Why do most people spell it 'Bioshock'? lol

  • @SparklyRedDrop lol grammar nazi. Look at the picture in the video its capitalized BIOSHOCK there

  • @relaxingmusic101 Then again, look on the side of the game boxes and inside the instructions ;) And on the menu when highlighting the game!

  • @CronoManiac42 Of course I do, but it's still stupid. Why is the protagonist not questioning it? Even when (spoilers) you kill Ryan, your character tries to fight it.

  • @SinclairDelux I believe you're mistaken on your definition of a troll. A troll is someone who goes around and tries to start trouble. Also, I am familiar with the "pretentious knowitall fucktard" troll of which you speak. I never called you unintelligent or anything like that. I just corrected a simple mistake.

If I didn't know any better, I'd say you were the troll in this situation. There's no need to try and pick a fight or even acknowledge the fact that I corrected you.

    Good day.

  • The song was a response to the attack on Pearl Harbor that marked United States involvement in World War II.

  • wow Jingle Jangle and now this i didn`t know Kay Kyser was this good!

  • @SinclairDelux Um, the Pledge of Allegiance isn't the National Anthem.

  • who dislike this?

  • mafia 2 right? :D awesome!

  • Sorry Lord, im out of Ammo.

  • @SinclairDelux yep. unfortunately they're working pretty good on fucking up the country's reputation. what happened to the idealized USA? now everone just hates 'em...

  • @3vegemite The idealized America went to Vietnam...they never came back

  • @SiggiPulsa well said, friend

  • @3vegemite yeah thats the point of the game exept its not just bashing the US its bashing every major power but it also shows that self-rule doesnt work either

  • Praise the Lord! Hay Bill! PASS THE AMMO WILL YA?! :D

  • @SinclairDelux This is way cooler than the limey pledge of allegiance. just imagine how the US would look in other's countries eyes... (daydraming with a creepy wide and sort of high smile)...

  • I wish you could hear this in Fallout New Vegas since you have a radio that plays this kind of music, and i should also mention you get to blow up a lot of things heads.

  • this is one of the funniest and my personal favorite song in this game.

  • Kay Kyser makes the best songs

  • Fit better to Mafia 2.

  • @SinclairDelux I know what you mean man if i could i would go back in time and make this the national anthem because this song just is already so American we all praise the lord and we help each other out by passing the ammunition and if you do both of those there's no way that you can't be free

  • @SinclairDelux hell yeah man

  • I have a feeling this plays when you fight Simon Whales. I dont listen to the song cause the only thing a hear is me shooting up the place when that happens

  • Hearing this makes me think of call of duty.....

  • this on mafia 2 also :D

  • I want this as my requiem.

  • I'd love to slaughter Raiders to this tune in the Capital Wasteland.

  • @MonkeyKnifeFight123 Or new Vegas ^^

  • @MonkeyKnifeFight123 PRAISE THE LORD!!! (sings while shooting) lol its a funny picture if you thin k about it

  • @MonkeyKnifeFight123 Or in New Vegas :D

  • @MonkeyKnifeFight123 Mojave wasteland now, just a tad bit more modern.

  • @MonkeyKnifeFight123 I already did.

    *hipster glasses*

  • @SinclairDelux but,wich part?

  • I liked Ryan better than Lamb...

  • @mynamehappy Yeah, Ryan wasn't bitching at you through the whole game.

  • @JakFan13 Damn right, plus Ryan had some of the most inspirational speeches ever!

  • @mynamehappy every one does lol

  • @mynamehappy

    I liked Bioshock 1 better than 2.

    Like you probably.

  • @mynamehappy I agree. Ryan may have been power-hungry, but he was just protecting what was rightfully his, and I can't say I wouldn't do the same. If someone tried to take what was mine, I'd go power-hungry too. Lamb and Fontaine were parasites. Lamb talked about altruism, but look at what she was doing to her own daughter. She raised Eleanor to continue her ideals, not Eleanor's. Ryan wouldn't have done that. Free will was the foundation of Rapture, and Lamb took that away.

  • @mynamehappy ryan was a frikkin bro.

  • @mynamehappy I liked cohen better than Atlas.

I wanna see him duke it out with Alex the Great

  • @mynamehappy I agree, when ever they make a "2nd" gam, film, book etc, they always fail to make the badguy more interesting, I liked Ryan because he was interesting, lamb on the other hand was a boring pain in the arce who spoke an unbelievable amount of bolloks!

  • Where this is in Bioshock 2?

  • WTF Mafia 2 and Bioshock 2?some music?!

  • @deloreandmc88 They are based around the same era <:

  • @egyptianqueen123 No they wasn't..Mafia 2 is based in the 40s and 50s and Bioshock 2 in 1970...so yeah....

  • @deloreandmc88 bioshock 2 was set in the 70's but, remeber the city went to insanity in 1959 so the stuff they had in 1959 didnt get upgraded because everyone was either dead or insane. so thats why you see 40's and 50's posters and propaganda and hear 40's and fifties music instead of 70's music and such, which im actualy pleased with. who would wanna go around rapture listening to the freaking bettles?????

  • @thebioshockguy1 bioshock 2 is not in the 70s its in the 60s

  • @hardkoregamer999 bioshock 2 is in 1969 to be correct. early 70's dude.... now you would be right if we were talking about bioshock 1 because that was in 1960 but bioshock 2 was in 1969 which was the early 70's

  • @thebioshockguy1 then its late 60s not 70s

  • @hardkoregamer999 late 60's early 70's same thing....

  • @deloreandmc88

I know this; But bioshock really doesn't show the signs of the 1970's

It's more like it's stuck in the 40's and 50's

    :]

  • wow i had no idea this was on the soundtrack. IMA GO BUY IT XD

  • unfortunately this is better than Serj's version

  • ....... Adnrew ryan wouldn't let this play in his town. Thankfully he's dead but-

On the surface the parasite expects you to pass the ammunition.

  • In light of the footage and info about Bioshock: Infinite, this seems even more appropriate

  • Im an atheist, but if I ever get into a gun battle with a bunch of guys, you can bet im gonna sing all along the fight:"PRAISE THE LORD AND PASS THE AMMUNITION!!!!"

  • Would u kindly pass the ammunition?

  • bioshock and fallout songs FTW<33333333333333333

  • I'm an atheist and I'd go Christian for this song.

  • @ForelliBoy ha same hear

  • MAFIA II <3

  • In my head i see a row of english man, the so called red jackets i believe, singing this song while they wait at the first shots of the enemy. I'd never got that. At the beginning of a battle they stand against eachother just waiting while they fire easyley at eachother :S....

  • @rolo6rolo It was because of the technology. Muskets were incredibly inaccurate and were slow to reload, so it was strategically superior if the two sides just lined up and fired at each other. In the end it always came down to superior numbers and superior reloading skills.

  • @JordoBurns yeah, tell that to hillbillys who were sniping the british with said muskets during the revolution for fun. lol

  • @rolo6rolo thats the "gentleman's" way of fighting, but Americans don't fight that way. Hence why we won the revolution.

  • funny in jehrico this is what the priest says :D

  • this is in mafia 2 aswell!

  • I just gotta make SOMETHING where this can be used! XD maybe a documentary on gun control? :P

  • Probably sang by soldiers in WWII, Pray to God..........& pass me that damn Ammo

  • @GhostAnimals93 yes. On wikipedia it says there was a soldier on pearl harbor or something who said that. I thought it was on pearl harbor

  • Oh my God this brings memories back!

My parents had this large 78rpm and for some reason I loved this song and I played over and over and over again. They would hide this record but even at three and four years old I just knew what record it was and would play over and over again, until they finally shattered it.

  • Yessss, I was wondering what that second song in the trailer was because I never actually heard it in-game. What a great song this is. *___*

  • This is also a good song for Fallout New Vegas!

  • This sounds like a Civil war song.

  • This song is surprisingly appropriate for Bioshock.

  • I love this one.

  • Is this the theme song for the southern U.S. something?

  • @kotuso dont mess with TEXAS!

  • @kotuso No, it's one of those World War Two military songs in the navy.

  • I love this song, because it was made during WWII, so its pretty much saying, "Praise The Lord And Pass The Ammunition" because it's speaking of the war and if we pass the ammunition we will be free and not be under control of another country. It also says Praise the Lord because the original 13 states were formed and founded under God. It's kinda confusing, but I get it, Lol.

  • superb its often played during the summer with my sister she is really awesome at it. I was lucky enough to get it utterly free for my sony ps3 from; 115 games . com they have hundreds and the best thing is they are all free I have to say 1:13 2 3:53 was fine

  • 1:12 the instro part of this song is kick ass! if I hadn't heard anything about Bioshock, this song would sell it to me

  • AND WE'LL ALL BE FREEE

  • Ryan wouldn't stand for this playing in his city! Sofia you.... you D:

  • @PrikoChan Gotta love creepy collectivist authoritarians like sofia "we are all a big family as one"

  • @chorizo1337

Don't forget "I killed you out of love" I see inconstancy, do you? xD

    God, sofia :x

  • Well, this song is kinda happy, and creepy at the same time!

  • I can't wait for Bioshock the movie =O I hope they actually know how to make a movie out of a video game series >.> *cough cough* Prince of Persia...

  • @Yushiva i haven't seen Prince of Persia, but actually i think that the RE movies, destroy the whole gameseries, horrible movies >.<, lets hope that if they make a bioshock movie, it really be good (cross fingers)

  • @Yushiva uuhhhmm listen until now most all movies based on videogames are sh*t look at super mario bros, wizard, megaman, street fighter and mortal combad!

    THEY SUCK ASS!

  • this song is so GREAT! right before taking out Father Simon Whales hahaha!

  • Damn, I kicked splicer ass to this song!

♪Praise the lord... *drill dash a splicer* ... And pass the Ammunition♫

  • They should be singing 'Praise the Lord and FUCK the ammunition!'

  • just use wikipedia

  • This song was written in the 1940's, just a year or so after Pearl Harbor occured, where this song was inspired by.

It was written by Frank Loesser and performed by many men and groups, but Kay Kyser's version was the most successful during that time period.

  • XD nice army song

  • @Gazzydemon73 Army?

  • Actually, some of these songs are from the 1940s!

  • @436TomTom Actually some of these songs are from not only the 40's, but the 30's and even the 20's!

  • @h4tr0x I am not quite sure if this is made in 60-70,but i bet it is.And i also agree.

    Damn,sure i agree!

  • Some of these songs this guy posted were recorded in 1940s but may have been edited.

  • @Darkhunter441995 Actually,they're mostly from the 40's and 50's

  • Great. You must try to play Bioshock 2 while listening to this.Thats so bloody epic!

  • This song would have been good to hear in the capital wasteland of DC on Three Dogs channel. besides The Marry Macs rules, actually all 40's music rules. it just has that umm... sound! you know?

  • It's my new favorite hymn! I'm clinging to my guns and religion. You gotta love vintage music; Great sound! An excellent song for Bioshock 2! One of my favorites in the game.

  • Comment removed

  • Minos: Sofia Lamb, you and Andrew Ryan are going to the lowest circle of hell! I just don't like the idea how she put herself in God's place of worship from his followers, but hey forgive and forget even for video game characters. Just kidding about the characters cause they're fake lol.

  • @Utamivz808

    Did you play Bioshock 1?

Overheard on Bioshock 1 right before Jack crashed his plane:

Atlas/Fontaine: Ryan, WOULD YOU KINDLY bang Sophia Lamb.

  • @pOpCoRn0531 yes, yes I did, but that was when the game was released, so I forgot. So what's with the bang lamb thing?

  • Praise the Lamb and pass the hypos.

  • yo dude pass me some o' that incinerate
