@rlpentz it's a mistake to take everything she says as if it were the Gospel. Nobody can tell for sure whthere she really believes in the causes she supports or whether it's just a way to sell more. You have to take everything with a grain of salt and reason upon it. Exactly the way one should do with everything. Buying everything like that without even thinking it over, just because somebody you trust says so, is not very mature.

If it was an act, I don't think she would've lasted this long. Obviouly you are not a little monster because if u saw everything Gaga says, you'd at least be able to say she has a sweet heart. I got all her CDs and have listened to them attentively, watched many interviews, read many articles and went to 2 of her shows. I'm not saying that it's a proven fact that she fakes her intentions, but of course when I see somebody dressed as a condom when she's asked to speak about safe sex, I start wondering if she genuinely believes what she supports.

I was interested in her at the beginning of her career, but I started losing interest when she started focusing on the kitschy antics and outfits that have made her famous and stopped caring about music. I could never be the fan of somebody who chooses the easy path to success and makes 3 albums that all sound like an 80's-90's pop revival. I'm into artists who make innovative pop music and grow from album to album.

@rlpentz the problem is other artists are equally supportive of gay rights, minorities, humankind as a whole and the planet, but they aren't as in-your-face as she always is. It's only logical to wonder if what she says and does mirrors genuine beliefs or if she just wants to get attention and sell. I'm the most respectful guy in the world, but I reflect upon things. By the way, 3 years in the business aren't a long time. You need 10 years of continuous success not to be considered a meteor.

In music there's no truth or scientific fact to take for granted except for sales, chart positions, records broken, earnings and numbers like those. The rest is a matter of tastes, which are all equally respectable and undisputable. And I'm not trying to change your mind. If Gaga makes you feel special and all, good for you. I won't change my mind about my idol either.
