gsak processes the poi's but then closes - not transfering to my device...before i rip my hair out - help please

@ballejb Sorry for the late response, I have been rather busy with filming GeoSnippits. There could be a few issues here but this would be my advice. Make sure the correct GPS is set up in the top GSAK menu. Make sure the GPS is in storage mode. Then after the transfer they will show up as POIs and not as actual geocaches.

I have not played too much with Magellan and they seem to be falling off the popularity of geocachers. There is a second set of GeoSnippits videos showing step by step how to use the lesser expensive Etrex GPS units by Garmin. Should give you the information you need and if not please let me know.

How do other brands compare like Magellan Triton 500? Or even less expensive Garmin models? I would like to use those gpx files since I hear they are better than loc files.
