  • oh man i didnt now the evil robot was 1500. ouch? thats a bit much. i would of guessed about 999. tops for that amp. oh well you can get an original for less wtf? anyway i played a jet city lil amp today with 2 el84's in the power section and man for 250. for the head at GC it sounded so good very much like a great old marshall through a greenback cab. even better than an expensive orange custom shop retro 50 that was there too. i was scratching my head on that one. that jet city sounded great!

  • no offense but before i read anything or knew you had a peavey classic 30 my thoughts were nice guitar but amp sounds cheap. again no offense but i could tell it wasnt a very good tone from the amp. with a guitar like that you owe it to yourself to get a good sounding amp. you play good.peace bro and again i hope your not offended. hell you got throbaks get a better sounding amp bro. if i could suggest id say the evil robot by kasha amps its a magnatone tonemaster. check out fretted americana!

  • @coolguy4sho no offense taken, i know the peavey classic 30 isnt the best amp out there, but for the 370$ that i spent on it, i think its great, the evil Robot amp is an amazing sounding amp, i keep up with the phillX vids religiously, but with their 1500$ price tag its out of my range right now, not to mention that i dont play any gigs or do band practice, and lately all my time and finances are going towards school, but i will get a better amp one day, but not now.

  • i Cant work out how to play the bit at 2:15

  • @binarx check out ultimate guitar tabs....i learned it from there...its basically in three partsover e flat/a flatm7/d flatt/b and f sharp....might take you a while but its worth the effort

  • love it man, nice tone!but you should add just a little more reverb!

  • Sounds great bro. I really love this song when Joe played it on the strat, but it don't matter what he plays it on its an amazing song and you did a great job with it.

    :-)

  • Very nice, I love your Les Paul! I also love the Classic 30, I have played through a few of them, they sound awesome, especially for blues
