That sounds like the common Robin to me Dave, although with a bit of a localised display. I've done this with starlings and blackbirds, with amazing results. I'm going to do it properly though, using decent equipment.
You should invest in a microphone that has a frequency response that goes up to 30kHz. Or perhaps try a harmoniser effect that riches the overtones. I would love to do that too, but i don't even have a somewhat decent microphone!
if you released an album of these sounds and it sold it would probably be only right that the birds received royalties. maybe in the form of some nets of peanuts, assorted seeds and some of those half coconuts with 'bird stuff' inside.. and maybe a nice ornamental bird bath...
You can have a lot of fun with bird calls. Listening to this wants me to try that synth slow-down thing in Soundhack (phase vocoder?) but I don't have a mac.
It sounds like horn, fantastic!

You've captivated what a lot of us seem to skip over in this life.
natural beauty in music and nature.
Makes you appreciate life a little more.
Wonderful :) Glad you posted it.

How many bird sounds where there?, since when you slowed it down I could hear only one.
Birds' hearts beat faster, it probably could be that they chirp something melodic at fast rate too.
Either way, this was fantastic. Great job./
