  • They were wonderful In 1959 theywere performing for the military on Okinawa. The marines were in the boondocks up in the Northern Area. Those ladies went up North and sang for us from the bed of an eight.by. They were just darlings.

  • Three very talented ladies. I didn't know about them at all, and now I'm curious. :)

  • Where are their eyes <.--------------- I think their eyes are in your asshole hahaha

  • Guess this is the origin of Korean girl group..!

  • What a shame that Andrew Solt productions is setting on the other tapes of this

band. This video is a good case for Fair Use....The KIM SISTERS were a unique

entity at the time. Nobody had ever seen a good all-female pop BAND (PLAYING

    INSTRUMENTS).

I hope Sue Kim is successful in getting a documentary made. It's a small but important part of music history.

  • Awesome! Great performance!!

  • great stuff

  • Incredible. Not seen for ALMOST FIFTY YEARS,LOL!!

Is this the same Hollywood Palace show where they did "Steel Guitar Rag"?1966.

To see women back in the day playing instruments was totally outrageous!!

They also did that song in 1961 on The Ed Sullivan Show;however, nobody seems to have that item except Sullivan's people.

I wish more of this "fair use" stuff would come out on YouTube...otherwise,it's

    just gathering dust!

Heard that Sue Kim wanted to do a documentary on this band .

  • I see hour glasses.

    loved that.

  • So lovely, and so talented! Wonderful! Thank you very much for sharing!

  • is the footage distorting their heads?

  • Bursting with talent. . . but the songs are fairly cheezy and lame.

  • "Para bailar la Bamba Para bailar la Bamba Se necesita una poca de gracia Una poca de gracia y otra cosita Y arriba y arriba, Y arriba y arriba Por ti seré, por ti seré, por ti seré Yo no soy marinero. Yo no soy marinero. Soy capitán. Soy capitán. Soy capitán. Bamba, bamba Bamba, bamba Bamba, bamba." y arriba mi Mexico querido!!!
