I absolutely love this version and Marc rocks!!! But a verse in the lyrics have me wondering... trembling heart of a captive stone??? I thought it was captive bird? Or am I thinking bout another song? Lol.

You're right, other singers/version do sing " Captive bird" but Marcia deffinately says something different and I find it difficult to hear clearly exactly what what it is she sings. I've listened over & over to that bit and still can't quite make it out, maybe it could be "captive soul"

If anyone knows for sure or has any other ideas please post your thoughts! ;)

Hi, I've added the words if you`d like to sing along! But I'm just not quite sure about the last two words of line 3, verse 2 ..... Other versions sing "captive bird" but Marcia doesn`t.... I`ve put what it sounds like to me but it still doesn't sound quite right!
