I'm not an American and therefore I would not expect any American to pay me too much attention in how I believe theyshould exercise their democratic rights. One of the best ways to beat a superpower is to spread them out and fight them on your own turf and it's how underdogs win. The more we jump into another battlefront on fear, the further we're spread and the severe costs fighting a distance war gets worse. We live in a time where the next world war could end most if not all of life on our planet. So why give an already unstable country the chance to start it? I do think we should drastically cut down the amount of military we have over seas. But to cut it out completely is an extreme. Ron Paul needs a less extreme view on foreign policy.
@BurntToast355 As you know there are other countries both allied and hostile that have nuclear capability, but have no reason to use it against us due to MAD. Also, if you eliminate any hostile reason to use it which is what my argument is trying to convey, even a first-strike scenario is severely mitigated.

@JoelOFWG He has a great chance. The Ron Paul campaign knew that voter fraud and media bullshit would make it almost impossible for him to win, let alone get his truth out there. Which is why they came up with the brilliant delegate plan. They can still win all of the delegates, because Ron Paul supporters are always there, and they don't give up. Ever. You shouldn't give up either. Even if he get's bs'd out of the presidency, it's your job to fight for freedom for yourself and others.

Voter fraud can only go so far, because you can't blatantly say fuck you to the people without having the majority of the people realize it. Honestly, all of Ron Pauls views are good EXCEPT for foreign policy. An end to all wars would be amazing. However, thats not only up to the USA. Ignoring other countries who want America destroyed leads to one thing...America being destroyed. Ignoring other countries would only be possible if we could literally take America and moved it to another planet, making it unreachable. Too bad that's impossible. Conclusion----Don't vote Ron Paul.

One of the best ways to beat a superpower is to spread them out and fight them on your own turf and it's how underdogs win. The more we jump into another battlefront on fear, the further we're spread and the severe costs fighting a distance war gets worse. As you know, China is buying more of our debt speeding up the process of us going bankrupt giving the enemy total victory in the future.

@hacker8675309 Even a relatively small country has the ability to obtain nuclear power. That's the reality of the century. We live in a time where the next world war could end most if not all of life on our planet. So why give an already unstable country the chance to start it? I do think we should drastically cut down the amount of military we have over seas. But to cut it out completely is an extreme. Ron Paul needs a less extreme view on foreign policy.

@BurntToast355 As you know there are other countries both allied and hostile that have nuclear capability, but have no reason to use it against us due to MAD. Also, if you eliminate any hostile reason to use it which is what my argument is trying to convey, even a first-strike scenario is severely mitigated.
I would prefer world peace than trying to constantly hold off potential nuclear hostile countries for eternity, go bankrupt in the process, and then get overrun.

Drop the wars and the current rate of new terrorists will be cut sharply, and the remaining will die with time. Complete stop in 8 years under a Dr. Paul presidency? No, but it certainly won't happen with anyone else.

You would think the man had a crystal ball. He not only saw all of our troubles militarily and financially but offered real solutions to avoid them. History now shows he was right. I just don't think the rich should control everything to their benefit and everyone elses expense. I use to like Ron Paul but then I learned what his real ideology is and simply put its the haves get more of everything and those opportunity to succeed disappear.

@BurntToast355 When you shrink the size of government to the point were it only deals with defense and policing (two things that make the rich, richer by the way) and get rid of regulation its going to be the poor and middle class that suffers with dead end jobs and low pay, this is not the land of opportunity you speak of. Regulation and workers rights do not tip the playing field, they balance it to give everyone a shot. Otherwise its slanted unfairly towards the money.
