you must get unbelieve frame rate with that SLi setup, i get an average of 98-100fps with this game on 1600x1200 6xAA and everything on high and my 512MB Radeon X1950XTX..and my OC C2D E6400 @ 3.80GHz on Air....

i have my C2D e6400 OC @ 3.80GHz, FSB @ 1800MHz, and my ram at 900MHz(XMS2)and i have a Radeon X1950XTX, and at 1600x1200 with everything on high and 6x AA i get about an average of 99 fps pretty kickass .....sp imagine u with that SLi setup

its really funny to see that so many people are seeking massive framrates 100 and beyond when almost nobody who is buying an 8800ultra will settle for an old crt monitor which is the only thing that can hit past 75hz (thats if your not thinking of hooking it up to a hd tv i know some go at 100htz)

not true exactly, most people can see more than that, i can see a clear difference between 100 and 120 fps on cs 1.6, this is only because my monitor can handle 120 hertz unlike most

its a 19" flat CRT, it can produce frame rates far beyond any LCD monitor up to 170 on low resolutions

Honestly, the human eye can't recognize a difference in frame rate once it gets past 60. Your brain just can't process things THAT FAST. So LCD's will forever be the way to go from now on (until some greater technologies come out). But for you to say CRT's are better because you can get up to 170fps is just stupid because you can't tell the difference between that and 60.

are you using a video camera?? because i see quite a lot of glare, i suggest you try fraps out even though it decreases fps, it shouldnt make much difference on your system.

CV, getting the ultra's gives you good lifespan, a good couple of years plus, and your GTS will need updating as soon as say crysis comes out or similar games, i seriously doubt it will run maxx'd on that.

Khem, SLI ultra's can run on a decent, I say DECENT 750 watt psu, so not really OTT i think, and if you buy XFX top ultra's there's no need to OC them either.

OTT is when someone screams at you, you need a 1kw plus psu, because he's read it and believes it.
