I think you're way to young to be doing the "those young whipper snappers are communicating in bad ways" thing.. I'm sure the same things were said about the telephone when it first came out. First off, MySpace is more for youth, Facebook attracts the 30s/40s/50s sect..and even more lately, seniors, and whole family units including kids. "not much known about it"..stop reading studies --- use and experience the thing you are lecturing on ...not that hard! You will learn much more that way.
agreed, but she is spot on with making analogies with non verbal communication and variations in tempo, etc...I think the whole point is to analyze it to understand it. But first you have to USE it!

I do not enjoy giving feedback but this is pretty off beat of networking site culture.
Seems deeply over analyzed but not truly understood.
It could be a great topic if approached better.
