I just started watching theses vids, and its like everything I have been doing and thinking is along these lines. Even coming from a Christian background it seems I turn to this. To me, most religions are about control and I claim none, but this is actually beautiful to me. Using energy as a tool to do unto others as you would have them do unto you? Do wiccans believe in chakras?

1. Learn & practice meditating. You can start simply by doing controlled breathing [exp. inhale bright, white plus-signs

{+}, thru your nose, then exhale dark/black minus signs {-} thru your mouth, slowly]. That alone will take your farther than a lot of other things will.

2. READ, READ READ. Many good books on the Craft out there; utilize them.

3. Start a BOS and keep track of everything; no matter how small. Blessed Be )O(

I have taken a recent interest in finding out more about Wicca. I love the idea of Karma and channeling energy towards something. I lost a friend but she isn't dead, she's just kind of lost and I would try so hard to send energy to her, I would feel so much happier about it, make me not miss her so much

Correction, the five pointed star is a far more ancient symbol than satanism dating back 3000 yrs ago. Satanism was invented by Anton Levay in the 70s and since that day, Christians have associated this symbol with this religious alignment; however, it is a complete misconception.

well i dont belive in a devil but I dong use Satan or Lucifer in my rituals. its my thing of course. words mean what they do to each. it just makes me uncomfortable.. same as I dont see god as a goat or the Goddess as the earth. they are but intelligent consciousness. its only my idea of course;.. :}

@GoddessUnity50 Lucifer is the Latin term for Lamp Bearer, or one who bears the light. It is used in Correllian ritual along with the Latin term Aquifer, meaning Water Bearer. It is also an appellation of the God Apollo, and is used as such in the Vangello delle Streghe. Though used by Christians, the term has nothing to do with their Satan in its origin or actual meaning.

Inscense is available for pursase at some bath and body shops and even dollarstores!!! I recently came out of the broom closet to my mom she went into my alter (my alters a plastic box with a cloth on it) and she was like are you gonna use those herbs for spells?

My mom is christan but she understands that I'm not! She told me she was into wicca when she was my age.

2. Look up folk names for herbs, or read one of Silver Ravenwolf's books.

Dragon's blood is a folk name, as is Eye of Newt, Tongue of Dog, etc.

Josesilva, I believe that there is a way to create fire, but with the intentions of many, it is almost impossible without any practice of wicca, or other. Practice makes perfect, use the spells to cleanse and bless yourself and learn all about what you can. Remember, a spell goes with your intentions. If your intentions are to cause harm, or for your own good with no reason behind it, all of your practice, and learning, will be pointless. Creating matter is the hardest part of using energy.
