@DVDTV100 Noob Saibot is the original Sub-Zero from the first game (sub zero in the other games is his younger brother). He was killed by scorpion as revenge for killing him (scorpion) first, after which Quan Chi and Shinnok convince him to join the brotherhood of shadow and he becomes Noob Saibot.

His first true apperance was in Deception i think (he was a secret character in MKII)

You're thinking of the fan made, non-canon (but still highly enjoyable and interesting) Mortal Kombat Project games using the MUGEN fighting game creator system, that uses the UMK3 apperance. They appear in that.

Interestingly enough, Acid is completely fan made, but Hydro is actually canon, and appeared in the comics before Scorpion owned his ass in the MK1 storyline.
