The changes may be inside the phone but the look is definitely no new eye candy! Was contemplating getting one but think ill wait till the iphone 5 comes out! @cuteboymimmi because apple doesn't settle for googles standard. they refuse to put anything any other company has done in their products. they wait till their version is 10 times better before actually using it. that's a dedicated company, that's why they're doing so well.
to be honest I am an android user. And I for a fact know that most phones today (at least the high end android ones) are the same (in specs) as the iPhone 4s or even better and whats better they are cheaper. But!, I still like the apple devices a hell of a lot more. they just seem to work... iPhone just seem to be intuitively easy to use while still providing the same amount of productivity that android seems to offer. I credit this to the fact that apple designs their own phone and OS.
here's the thing. a 1GHZ processor in iPhone is equivalent to a 1.2GHZ dual core processor in android. you can have all the specs you want. if the firmware doesn't cooperate the high specs are in vain. also, build quality of android phones is garbage. and if you want a well built android phone you're paying as much as you would for an iPhone. motorola to me has the best build for android, unfortunately their OS overlay is TRASH. that's what made me switch to iPhone.

I'm going to get it ... but I have a 3GS and my contract is up. My husband has the iPhone4 however, and we just don't see the point of replacing that right now. Extra speed, a better camera, and a supposedly better (and faster) is great and all ... but the "old" iPhone 4 is still a great phone.

to be honest I am an android user. And I for a fact know that most phones today (at least the high end android ones) are the same (in specs) as the iPhone 4s or even better and whats better they are cheaper. But!, I still like the apple devices a hell of a lot more. they just seem to work... iPhone just seem to be intuitively easy to use while still providing the same amount of productivity that android seems to offer. I credit this to the fact that apple designs their own phone and OS.

here's the thing. a 1GHZ processor in iPhone is equivalent to a 1.2GHZ dual core processor in android. you can have all the specs you want. if the firmware doesn't cooperate the high specs are in vain. also, build quality of android phones is garbage. and if you want a well built android phone you're paying as much as you would for an iPhone. motorola to me has the best build for android, unfortunately their OS overlay is TRASH. that's what made me switch to iPhone.

Apple really cares about their loyal customers.
After a year, 2G has been replaced by iPhone 3G.
Jailed for two years, 2G customers couldn't buy 3G despite their desire to.
Came 3GS for those loyal 2G customers, they could get their 3G styled phone on an upgraded version.
Releasing 3GS didn't matter to 3G that much. and waited for iPhone 4.
and the cycle continued with iPhone 4S.

I'm going to get it ... but I have a 3GS and my contract is up. My husband has the iPhone4 however, and we just don't see the point of replacing that right now. Extra speed, a better camera, and a supposedly better (and faster) is great and all ... but the "old" iPhone 4 is still a great phone.

Apple is doing the same thing with the iPhone 3g we all thought that iPhone 4 would come out instead just a iPhone 3gs which was a good idea. iPhone 4 S will work out because most people don't want such a big upgrade just some added features and resolved issues.Their is also the speed enhancement so i think apple did a pretty good job with it and I'm on Sprint so all you jerks out their saying oh Biggest Tech Fail 2011 oh piss off!! Apple has not said anything about what the S stands for, so no one actually knows. It'd make a lot more sense calling it 4S, because it is a update on the iPhone 4, like the 3GS was an update from the iPhone 3G.
Oh yeah, in those videos they're also talking about speed enhancements, seeing as the A5 processor is one of the main upgrades...

@Jabbawockee22 the iPhone 3GS was called "3GS" because it was an upgrade from the iPhone 3G, which was called "3G" because the previous iPhone had 2G only. The "G" does not stand for generation. The iPhone 4 wasn't called the 4G because it doesn't have 4G, and it was the 4th iPhone. The iPhone 4S is called 4S because, as with the iPhone 3GS, it doesn't have any design enhancements, only internal things such as speed improvements. Apple's release cycle is just common sense.
