IT'S MADNESS...for some reason...the first 2 months, he doesnt guard AT ALL...then after a power cut or something wrong with it...cpu exdeath does block...(and yes he use omni block too...) HELL 80% OF THE TIME MY COD'S SHOOP DA WHOOP IS PUNISHED...now i use aura ball to trick him to use high guard and die!

O and I forgot, if you win the battle in EX mode you have a bonus of experience. I don't exactly know how it is calculated but is like 3 or 4 more levels.

Maybe you should try this with chaos, it only requires skill but he gives you a lot mor experience since you fight him 3 times and all the chocobo items work on him the 3 times. Just imagine, 1x2(special day)x5(chocobo play plan)+150%= x25 effective experience. I f you fight chaos at lvl 100 he has 9999 of life, so for all 3 fights you get 749925 experience points. Besides the japanese version has a glich, if you fight chaos on quickplay your play plan stops on the spot you fight him. infinitex5

@Davysro ooo to get faster ap, use the Diamond combo with ur equipment (eg, diamond cuff, diamond hairpin, diamond armor) for +100% ap, diamond ring from the item shop for another +300% ap, beckoning cat for +100% ap (and a few other things) and fight Chaos on like...lvl 80 or something easy to beat...if u get the ap chance each time, then u'll score some pretty good ap ;D its really easy to max out abilities this way, thats how i did it ^^

@TheNorwaybear Actually, it does work with auto. You just need to make sure the Al's bravery is at least 6000+ (Not hard to do really) and once you're in break, the Al will be at 9999, and once that happens, the Mage pot will activate once you come out of break.

@encfam you know the pp catalog. you have to go there then go to system and scroll down and buy level 10, 20, 30 , 40 , 50 , 60 , 70 , 80 , and 90. That's the only way to buy level 100 for quick battle then just go into quick battle and set him to level 100. By the way he'll demolish you if you have him on Average. Set him to minimal.

I did this with Shantotto and it only leveled me from 1 to 90. And then i did it to Sephiroth and he was was already level 4 and he got to lvl 91. Weird.

You have to go to the pp catalog and buy CPU level 100. It starts out at like 10 then goes all the way to 100.

If you have Magic Pot (manual not auto), you press O + R (trigger) when you are not in break and when your opponent is at the specified brave you want (in this case 9999).

Sounds like you pressed somewhere to fast. R + Circle to activate summons. If it has "AUTO" you can't initiate them yourself.

To get him to break on you, set him to cautious and let him hit you with his first attack(a blue ray/arrow like thing) once or twice. then magic pot him and go for an HP attack. he usually throws out that attack in the beginning at a distance, so just try to get him to do that.

You can also set him on Vicious, and equip the accessory "You: No BRV Damage" - the AI becomes obsessed with doing BRV damage.

To seal the deal, it's easier to play keep away until he uses Grand Cross, and right when it starts up, dash in and use any HP move.

Well theres this new accessory that gives you ap 300% and if you use it during the special day and achieve those AP chances during a fight it gives you like around 16-24 APs and you can keep buying them for 10000 gil so if u have the money to spend it you can try that just remember itll always break upon use...i used some for Terras holy combo to get her Ultima and from 20-300 Ap it took me like 10-12 uses of those it affects all abilities so its worth it

Dood its not the only video out there..theres anothers who done it with lvl 1 chars the manual Magic pot you have to wait till your not on break state....and first of all you let him break you then run around till you get your BP back and use the summon...like i told the other guy if you need tips on how to dodge Exdeaths HP attacks ill upload one...

This is complete BS! It doens matter how many fricken times I try this, I cant beat someone 100 with difficulty of 9 with a low character. Magic Pot will not copy the stats either. And auto Magic pot wont do it either; the opponents brave starts off too high for it to work automatically

You have to master certain moves first.....For example Cloud's Finishing touch requires you to master Sonic break with is 300AP total and like while with Slashing blow for his Omnislash Version 5
