  • i can tell u exactly how there is a dislike bar, its from people like my friend who dont like anime, but are referred to the song by anime/bebop lovers like me who say its the best thing on the planet, and then the friend checks it out...and then says its gay... very sad....but very true

  • muy bueno...

no me canso de escuchar esta canción

  • Your gonna carry that weight......

  • steve conte is the fucking man

  • Spike, Jet, Edward, Faye...see you space cowboys! :)

  • I halfway expect this song to morph into the verve's bittersweet symphony at the end.

  • .... La voz nexcepcional de Steve Conte, todo gracias a Yōko Kanno... una de las mejores canciones de anime...

  • Ever had that one friend who you knew since... Well since you could recall? And then once high school got out you and your friend went separate ways, and here you are, god knows how many years has passed since you've even talked with your friend, and you just wonder what he/she is up to.

Yea, this song is what should be playing in the background.

  • it describes spike so well

  • Bebop is the king of anime.

    It's just so........Cool....

  • The saddest egg-eating scene in history.

  • @alexius321 its see you space cowgirl..someday..somewhere if ur gonna quote the get it right

  • This song gets me every time. I'm stationed in Fort Campbell and have not seen my family in almost two years.

  • 2,500th like w00t~

  • what an awesome song !!

  • I can't figure out what this song is about. Either about someone you loved who left you that you're trying to re-connect with or someone who died and you're mourning them.

  • @xIegionx You should know if you have watched episode 24, if not, go watch CB now.

  • @youtubamigo Just cause it was played during that scene it doesn't actually mean what's going on in the scene. Do you think the real folk blues actually means going on a suicide mission against incredible odds to kill a rival? if you think so, you don't get the music that well

  • @xIegionx No, because it wasn't played during that scene. It was during the scene when Ed was leaving them. And Faye was out too, it's about people you like, people you miss, and the wish to find them again, in a nutshell.

  • @youtubamigo or someone you miss that you once were in love with that broke up or if they died. It's something like that

  • this song makes my heart weep tears of joy and sorrow

  • Best part in this entire video is when spike is falling :'(! The music just go so well with it !

  • i was so pissed when ed left and they played this song....i started to get teary eyed and my roommate was alike "really" she thought it was funny that a 21yo guy was getting sad from an anime....

  • @happydeathrazorsmile It's normal.

  • Bebop, the only show from my childhood im still watching, and im 24. Great show.

  • I will flag this... AS AWESOME!

  • Damn, this video matches the nostalgia of the song perfectly...well done!

  • just me or does this sound alot like oasio:S

  • Bebop and Ghost in the Shell:SAC are top fav anime of all time. The same goes for the soundtracks as well.

  • @TheCriminalistic you cant compare any anime to this

  • When listening to this song I feel engulfed with nostalgia, it makes me ponder on my life as a wee little boy who was free from responsibility and probably... more at peace than I am now. I can't wholly describe the sensations this song gives me, but it reminds me that there was once such a time where the world was better than it is now.

  • 90's were just the hotest fucking thing since life began. shitty 2K crappy kids.

  • "...Today's hottest kind of cool..."

  • im sad but it will be ok

  • 30 people were hacked by Edward

  • Cowboy Bebop reinvented the term Anime.

  • Why can't I find this song on iTunes?

  • @AFMountaineer2000 Try with Seatbelts - Call me, Call me

  • your gonna carry that weight....

  • One of the greatest anime soundtracks ever. Only FLCL can hold a candle to it.

  • @PlasmaTwa2 If you think that piece of shit excuse for a decent anime comes anywhere near the perfection of Cowboy Bebop, you are seriously disturbed.

  • @LeftyAcoustic Can't tell if bad taste in anime, or bad taste in music.

  • @LeftyAcoustic Well, the soundtracks are different, but they are both masterpieces in their own genre.

  • reminds you of a time thats familiar ... great great song.

  • my favourite song :))Beatiful..

  • Wow! i just love this anime ! When I hear this song, I see the sunset in "Hard luck woman" and memories come back! This anime is older, but most of animes nowadays are totally shits compared to Cowboy Bebop :-) But if you liked CB, you could like Samurai Champloo, it's from the same author and I also liked it very much. It's very diferent, but somehow it's alike... Love this song, it's awesome !!!

  • Am i the only ome who hates julia? Sorry, i just do, i tried to like her, but i fucking hate her

  • @72nortoncommando No. I love her because spike loved her. and thats good enough for me.

  • The episode this song played in was beautiful but it was so sad

  • Comment removed

  • @roadwarr Vicious most certainly did not kill Julia. The goons that went there to kill Julia/Spike in that scene were old-guard Red Dragon members. At their final fight, Spike also is the one to tell Vicious that Julia was dead.

  • @jagovRUS TY for the clarification. Regards.

  • ©Mcomix90 robotics?

  • If I listen to all of Cowboy BeBop all the way through in one sitting, I'm going to either reach nirvana or explode....

Welp, let's pray for the former.

  • You're Gonna Carry That Weight.

  • SEE YA SPACE COWBOY! - You'll never walk alone

  • If "ART" could have an anime this would be it, there are many great animes but this one stands out among the rest. Not only by its animation style but everything was great from storytelling to the soundtrack that just made you keep coming back for more wanting to see whats in store for our Bebop crew!

  • i want them to bring this show back but i know they well only fuck it up

  • God, how i miss my wife...

  • 90s, golden age of everything

  • @MComix90 Except fashion

  • His voice is like Bono...from U2....

  • the 90's was the bomb. that was when music was still good and anime was perfect.

  • niiice. man i miss this show

  • To Be perfectly honest, I'm not much of a Cowboy Bebop fan...(Weird right?) But somehow I came across this song and you know what.... It's a Really Good Song.

  • Guess what time it is. Time I watched this anime again!

  • @cristaldks Perhaps I failed 2 mention.. Epic Work.. Quintessential Bebop stuff.. kinda makes me wanna find it & watch it All again... Thanku =D

  • Does anybody notice toward the end of this song sounds just like the beginning of bittersweet symphony?

  • @Lilcrow338 yeah

  • Had this song stuck in my head at work all day...nice to come home and find it so easily. If only finding "it" was this easy.

  • Welcome to the greatest show ever made. And I hate anime.

  • Comment removed

  • End of episode 24.

Best episode imo, tears were shed.

  • oh my god this song touches my soul

  • I close my eyes and I keep seeing things... rainbow waterfalls... sunny liquid dreams... confusion creeps inside me raining doubt... got to get to you... but I don't know how...

  • To be honest, everything is way better in the old times. :)

  • This and Ghost in The Shell SAC are my top two anime

  • The 80's and 90's were a good time in regards for animation and music. Miss the kinda heart people put into the two. These days there are only a few good eggs in music coming out and American Animation went down the tube. Anime these days is producing a lot of good storys but more bad.

  • The comments about the 90s being the golden age make me smile. Try being born in the early 70s and watching "Star Wars IV: A New Hope" at the age of 5 years. Awesome.

Living through the 90s in my twenties was glorious, no doubt. Great music. Awesome anime, too. Cowboy Beebop was truly a memorable work of art.

Do not discount anime produced this century, though. Some fantastic work out there. I am considered to be "old" by many anime fans, but I still love the medium.

  • @YasumotoUS the 90's >70's i was born in 1986 -___- sorry old man lol

  • @YasumotoUS A wise response, just what I would expect from someone almost my fathers age.

  • specklednoodle99, I agree. But not for Soviet union Countries) It was crappy) But still, the "art" inheritance of the 90s is the best.

  • Comment removed

  • Wow this is a really well done video. Kudos!

  • @specklednoodle99

Kinda makes me wish I was born in like 1983 instead of 1990. Then I'd be old enough to remember how epic the early and mid 90s were.

  • @Wonocva15 Hey man, doesn't matter when you're born. You can still experience the awesomeness. :) (p.s. I was born in 84. :P )

  • Goodbye Ed

  • This is an awesome track. Sums up the feeling of the show very nicely.

  • Steve Conte is the man! So good.

  • Someone please do a batman TAS vs. Cowboy Bebop

  • It depends on which fullmetal alchemist you're watching. I personally feel brotherhood was better.

  • @Samuraishell brotherhood was definitely much better, more detailed and complex storyline, better development of the characters, ect... ect....

  • is this a specific style of music because its great or is it special to bebop

  • YOU'RE GONNA CARRY THAT WEIGHT.

  • If we're talking about geeking out, the 80s were the golden age of D&D and RPGs in general.

  • If you knew how you were going to die, if you saw it in your dreams over and over, would you stalk through life fearlessly, like Spike?

'Everything else is just a prelude, until I meet up with Viscious, for the last time...'

  • to me cowboy bebop is the perfect anime series. good story great plot perfect music. this is anime at its finest

  • Best. Song. Ever.

  • Whenever I get sad about Cowboy Bebop being over, I just pop the dvds in because I'm not an idiot.

  • 4:40 the end of the song, in the silence I think about the end of the anime.. And I am so melancholy & sad..

  • Comment removed

  • I love this soo much!

  • This was always my favorite track. I always get goosebumps..

  • God I miss the 90's

  • Between this and Fist of the North Star, I think I could have filled a 5 gallon bucket with tears!

  • @ToBeFedVideos But those will be quickly swept away by the following wave of manliness!

  • @Matt00851

yes they did, just look it up on amazon, you should find some.

  • did they ever release a sound track album based on the series?

  • @Matt00851 yes i can give you a torrent link if you want , it's contain all the 7 soundtracks released

  • @saddemgargouri including the movie one?

  • @Matt00851 yes

it's a torrent , do you want it ? movie is not included

  • @saddemgargouri i mean the movie it self is not included , but i have the soundtrack ,

  • This song brings me to tears every time I hear it.

  • @ControlDenied307 I really can understand that...

  • Greatest anime ever created. Nuff said.

  • @Gohan346 Totally agree.

  • Spike was always shown as sleeping, because really he died a long time ago inside. The sleeping state was a forshadowing of his doom even in the movie. A dead man dreaming of being alive

  • He died. You see his guardian star go out right at the end of the credits

  • WHENEVER I HEAR THIS SONG IT BREAKS MY HEART. :(((

  • @cowboybebop1227

Why would anyone want to continue a flawless series? The only thing I might be interested in seeing is Spike's past played out, but even then, too much fan service and too many continuations destroy the original and delude it to an unrecognizable point.

  • I think Jet and Faye definitely found out about what happened and I honestly think that Spike DID Die. It's sad but that's what I like about the ending, it's moving.

  • @MalcolmAlleleLorenz The sadder part of all that is... Spike knew he was going to die. Or I guess I should say he wanted to die.

  • @bombomos yeah... i think he never really felt like he was ALIVE, you know? His false eye was always used to illustrate that point. Losing Julia was the final straw.

  • @MalcolmAlleleLorenz You said it spot on.

  • @bombomos Thanks!

  • i just wonder what jet and faye thought after... did they find his body? did the rest of the syndicate hide spikes body so jet and faye never know what happened? could someone enlighten me?

  • @HANKaccount

If you don't know why would we?

I'm sure they would know he is as dead as he can be because he never came back.

  • i almost cryed when Ed and Ein Left

  • @DarkSkies132 i cried.

  • @DarkSkies132 Almost?

  • @ToBeFedVideos yup like i felt it in my gut and i started to feel tears but i couldn't even though nothing wasnt stopping me

  • ahhh this anime/song is heartbreaking!!

  • love how the description is "excelente video". i was like way to be modest, and then watched it and was like ur so right, it's a fucking excellent video. kudos

  • 27 people shed crimson tears. Vicious was just near by when they hit the dislike button.

  • This song is epic in my anime world.

  • i can't get tired of this song

  • 26 people are SUCKERS!!!!! Anime IS ART!!! KANNO YOKO can make music with or without anime!!!

  • 100 years from now, this will still be spectacular.

  • I love this song... but... listen to One day - The verve

  • これエドが出ていくシーンの曲だよね!大好き!

    ゆでたまごをスパイクとジェットがバクバク食ってるのw

    懐かしいな〜、名前とか記憶に残ってるくらい好きだったんだな。

  • once i screwed a goat while listening to this song it was so magical...

  • "Whatever happens, happens." God, I love Bebop

  • @dachamp81

it is a story that jet told ed. I don't know what episode it was from because I haven't seen this show in a long time. I don't know the story means neather.

  • can someone tell me that that saying up there ^^ means? i got an idea but im not too suree

  • I like this song, its so relaxing. and the video was well done. props to cristaldks ..

  • Which episode did Spike die in again? Been so long since I've seen the show.

  • @ShadowPhoenixKC Last one. Episode 26 The Real Folk Blues Part 2.

  • i wish all anime have good soundtracks look how many good songs are for cowboy bebop just think if it had lasted longer what sort of great music we would have but hey i'm happy with what we got. if only every anime had great soundtracks like this one!!

  • You know really we don't know if spike died or not....

  • @wfhs77 technically we do. it was his implied death. he died. sorry to say, I really wish he didn't. What are the bebop crew going to do?! Taking Spike away from the Bebop crew is like taking away Lupin III from Lupin and Company!! D': what an awful thing..but yes...it's true, he died...

  • @mcrgerardway923 "I've never officially said that he died. At this point, I can tell you that I'm not sure if he's alive or dead." From the mouth of Watanabe himself. I hate that he might have died, but as awesome as the scene was I kinda don't want him to "come back to life".

  • @Inenitias I agree, the dramatic scene would be wasted awfully if Spike was still alive, but try telling that to my sister :(

Anyways, thanks for proving your point. :D

  • @mcrgerardway923 Glad to help.

  • Random thought of the day: whenever I cast Julia in my mind for live-action, the part goes to Kathleen Turner c 1985 (see Romancing the Stone.)

  • 26 people who saw this great video.... are fags

  • SPOILER<-All the songs & this series are great i grew up with it this is the 1st anime that made me cry when he died i wasn't expecting it i still feel sorry and feel almost like pain when i watch the last 10mins of the series i love everything about this series its the true story of a hero or just a guy trying to forget his past and move forward but his past cought up to him(u cnt runaway from ur past).and although the ending made me sad I would not change a thing on how it ended

  • @thehappyusagi

Wait a minute.... what's the time frame on the feature, then?

I mean - if it's after the series... doesn't that mean that Spike survived the clash?

  • @rettie The movie is set between episodes 23 & 24, right after Brain Scratch but before Hard Luck Woman.

  • @merloon No, it is between 22 and 23, because Big Shot gets canceled in 23.

  • @ElPayasoMalo I stand corrected. Thank you.

  • @merloon No worries. We all make mistakes sometimes.

  • @merloon

..... which means that Spike really is dead? :(

  • @rettie yep. he's dead

  • @rettie It's between 22 and 23. Trust me.

  • Brings back plethora's of old memories.

  • See ya cowgirl, someday, somewhere

    I love this music
