  • What a AWESOME

  • That first service return by Nadal.....I knew he hit high, but dang lol. That has to be some serious topspin.

  • LOS DOS MAS GRANDES

  • una de las mejores cosas que vi en el deporte ultimamente, los 2 mejores entrenando juntos, muy dificil de ver...

  • 0.6 what a fucking top!

  • i would have paid just to see them practice together

  • it's all about money guys shut the fuck up

  • Roger needed to practice with a lefty b/c his first match was with Verdasco.

Plus, Roger and Nadal are friends.

  • es una masa

  • Jeez people! If Roger and Rafa can play nice to each other, why can't their fans? This is almost surreal, but in a nice way, that the top 2 players are practicing each other for the last big tournament of the season. That happens once in a blue moon even in tennis.

I'm glad that these two have kept the respect for each other at the height of their respective careers.

So should fans from both camps.

  • @primula I know what you mean but I think as in all sports there will always be this between 2 sets of fans, as a massive Rafa fan I love to hate Roger but it is only because he is such a great player and Rafas greatest threat to winning titles so it should be taken as a compliment well sort of lol

  • Where can I see more points of this training?

  • They're really going at it and it's only practise. lool

  • FEDERER WON!

  • how do you know federer won? i bet you they didn't play points. and if they did rafa would have won

  • i remember i read it somewhere... perhaps uncredible

  • The woman in the video says so...she says they played a set which Federer won for 6-3.

  • Actually Federer won 6-3, the played a set.

  • Man, I love seeing it from that camera angle. You get such a better idea of the spin.

  • Here we go again, whenever a blatantly pro Rafa salvo is lobbed up I feel compelled to smash it. First off, Fed beating Rafa in Madrid last year wasn't anymore attributable to luck then Rafa's win over Fed on grass. 2nd, remove Rafa's clay court wins from his now 13-7 record and suddenly Fed bests Rafa 7-4. Both have titles on all surfaces but Rafa won't catch Fed's 16 GS titles. Rafa isn't dominating Fed in general; he is specifically dominating Fed on clay. Subtract clay, Fed is on top.

  • @jtatsiue

    You and Your pea-brained analysis.

Firstly if u take out clay, its 5-4 for Roger, not 7-4. Almost even.

But then to be fair, why not take out grass, or hardcourt ?

Relax, Roger is still the greatest except that he has a losing record against his arch rival. No shame in that, u can't have everything in life !

  • @uuduu7, I was simply removing the clay victories for Rafa while including Fed's clay victories. My point was simply that at the start of their rivalry Rafa was mainly a clay court specialist, a clay court specialist with preternatural athleticism, strength, stamina and mental toughness, but a clay court specialist none the less. My math holds up in this regard, out of Rafa's 13 victories, 9 have been on clay. I wouldn't call that "all surface dominance" as some have suggested.

  • @uuduu7, the reason that I didn't omit the other surfaces for Fed is that he's demonstrated proficiency on all the surfaces for years so removing everything besides clay doesn't make sense when trying to assess the two. Fed doesn't even possess the classic grass court game anyway. He's dominated on a markedly slower grass court surface than Johnny Mac and Pete won their titles on. Fed wins on grass due to his versatility which is precisely why he wins on the other surfaces as well.

  • @jtatsiue

Not just u but many others likes to ask the question "what if..", the problem is this is the equivalent of daydreaming. History makes not room for 'what if', what happens happens, accept it and move on.

Ya know I appreciate Nadal for getting me interested in tennis again, Federer is so good that its hard to imagine anyone challenging him at all, so much so that Nadal's appearance became an epic gripping development in an otherwise boring one-man domination..

  • @uuduu7, in terms of GS titles the men's tour as been an oligopoly since Fed's first Wimbledon championship. For the game to be popular, it helps if the two battling it out at the top have contrasting styles, enter Fed vs. Rafa, their clothes, on and off court attitudes, playing styles, favorite surfaces are all different and that's why the sport is still interesting.

  • @jtatsiue Both of their attitudes on and off the court are exemplery, and should be mimicked by all aspiring athletes and we need more of that in tennis but also in the world of sports in general.

  • @jtatsiue

If one can choose, most wld choose to lose to just one person than loose to a bunch of other players. Which means one gets to win a bunch of tournaments and only lose a few..

  • But only one hot chico.

  • jaja :) very hot chico
