[1] So, nun nochmal ein Kommentar von mir, da ich das letzte Mal direkt nachdem ich dein Video angeschaut habe, gehen musste und mir die Zeit fehlte.. Wir hatten doch mal ein kleines Gespräch über Künstler und deren Selbstkritik, falls du dich erinnerst(?). Ein gewisses Maß davon ist gut und ich glaube, das geht wirklich absolut jedem Künstler so. Aber sei nicht zu hart mit dir, du bist wirklich fantastisch und das würde ich nicht schreiben, wenn ich es nicht so meinen täte.

[2] Du gibst der Musik ( und auch deinen Photographien) eine Seele, legst Gefühl hinein und hast einfach einen wahnsinnig großen Wiedererkennungswert, das beeindruckt mich am meisten an dir! Geschmäcker mögen zwar unterschiedlich sein, aber mir persönlich gefällt dein Cover sehr gut und deine Stimme klingt hervorragend die Kommentare zeigen außerdem doch auch, das einige andere auch dieser Meinung sind. ;-) Ich sitze manchmal stundenlang vor meinem PC, um dir zuzuhören und es wird mir einfach

Yes, it's written by Roy. It was originally on the "Valentine" album as the last song.

Great version here!!

He's a lot of fun to cover, especially his acoustic material.

I had Sophisticated Beggar on C.D. back in 1989 and it wasn't included on there.

I always heard the Valentine version.

@unclealbert72 that doesn't surprise me. I know that Sophisticated Beggar has suffered a few line-up changes over the years. I'm not sure what the original track list was back in 1967. My vinyl (bought around 1990) and then my cd both have the this song. I still think that the version on Beggar is the best. Cheers!
