  • why are we calling this country?? i dont see it... but i love them :)

  • @omgitsmechenchen I think because of the strong association that people have between slide guitar and country music.

  • Tenderness and kindness are amazing strength - it is stronger and more effective weapon than the atomic bomb!

  • Le début de la chanson me fait penser à la chanson d'Amy MacDonald - This Is the Life

  • A slight touch of Cass about the Voice Beautiful

  • angels singing her new song

  • Leave it to two young sisters from Sweden to show Nashville what they've been doing wrong for the last 30 years. Absolutely stunning.

  • @hp3003 no doubt!!!!!

  • @hp3003 I couldn't agree with you more!! First Aid Kit is absolutely amazing!

This is country music as it should be. Crap like for example Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, Toby Keith, Lady Antebellum have tons to learn cause whatever they're doing it's nothing to do with country. Talented musicians who plays true country like for example Kelly Willis, Gillian Welch, Allison Krauss, Emmylou Harris, Iris Dement, Kimmie Rhodes and Mark Olson is what Nashville should look for instead.

  • @hp3003 Ahahahahaha. I'm only laughing because of how true your statement really is.

  • ♥ ♥ ♥

  • this is my new favorite band, first aid kit

  • @MusicLuverAJ228 .. she sings in every single one of their songs.. but SERIOUSLY, she's beautiful.

  • That was a beautiful little solo.

  • So hauntingly pretty - love this song. Great job!

  • i miss it when it wus just them singing with the guitar

paying more attention to their beautiful voice

    original.

  • omigod, johanna is so good! who'd have thunk it!

i mean, i always knew she had a beautiful voice, but you mostly heard it in teh background so I didn't think much of it,

    but she's so good!

  • Chords anyone?

  • можно подумать что кренборис поют в двоём ...

  • @aboror333 очень даже похоже

    which sounds great.

  • One of the few, if not only, times we get to hear a short solo from Johanna. She has a most beautiful voice :)

  • wow!

  • ant wait for end of the road festival!

  • ah, nice :)

  • in love

  • OMG I love it! You're going high, girls! =D

  • whoever edited this need shooting, fooking dissolves everywhere poor show !

  • @steadiworkz What's wrong with dissolves?

  • @mycassetteheart EVERYTHING ! a pofesional editor will almost never dissolve a shot, people tend to dissolve shots together when they don't straight cut well (DOWN TO POOR SHOOT PLANNING. watch a feature film (a good one) and tell me how many dissolves you see). NONE !

  • @steadiworkz sounds a bit anal to me; you're not seeing the beautiful forest for the trees...

  • @rosskstar not at all, its shot beautifully and I love the girls, shame about the editing :(

  • @steadiworkz This is a music video, not a feature film - I think you're forgetting that. The dissolves are great and work well for this song. Just calm your tits and embrace the video for what it is.

  • @mycassetteheart I'm not forgetting its a music video, the principles of good editing still apply, then only time you can get away with breaking the rules is if you do quick cuts etc but this isn't that sort of video. Just except the fact the know fuck all about editing and calm your fanboy self down and learn something.

  • @steadiworkz Try to keep in mind the genre and the content of the song in context. If I'm not mistaken, the song's lyrics pay tribute to the likes of Johnny Cash and Emmylou Harris, Country/Folk musicians famous for playing on such television programs as the Grand Ole Opry. Those kinds of programs often employed "old school," naive editing with slow dissolves and juxtaposed frame-on-frame shots, among other things. I feel like the video was entirely appropriate in that respect.

  • @TheRealCalamityJames And obviously the music itself is quite old school Folk/Country-blues, with its East Coast style blues guitar picking and a lap steel guitar that can be traced back to guys like Don Helms (guitar player for Cash and Hank Williams, among others). These girls are pretty hip, in my opinion. I for one am glad the music video tried to capture some of that emotion and maybe its history, too.

  • @TheRealCalamityJames what can I say, the dissolves offended me deeply ! Its something I encounter far to often and such a lack of respect for film making is the norm these days. Are we also saying the wonky steadicam was intentional ? Oh my I hate the hole concept of this video even more now. Please don't explain this warped concept any more my simple mind can't take it lol

  • @steadiworkz i'm sure you're the life of the party too...no wait i meant buzzkill; if you're name is Bob then you've got a great nic Buzzkill Bob

  • @TheRealCalamityJames Exactly. It's about Emmy Lou Harris and Gram Parsons & Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash.

  • too good
