@THEFLAKS13 id it a isb mic? or condeser mic? if its a condensor try to use only one cable from ur mic to ur audio-interfacee also make sure your headphones are connected directly to the pc its better
@KyleKid91 It most probably would. Depends on the quality of the microphone your recording with. With instruments i tend to edit slightly differently but definately give it a try. But it most probably wont work if your mic isnt of at least half decent quality.
@ImpulsivMusic .. i record with cool edit pro 2.0 and when i save it u can here my vocals but u can barley hear the beat in the backround .. HELP ME FIX THIS PLEASE
@dacads this is an old one dude haha. And whether you choose noise reduction depends on your microphone and amount of background sound. New one coming soon tho
@ImpulsivMusic will do bro :] keep the tutorials coming! haha. they're very helpful. btw i saw your thing about mixing songs for people for free. do you still do that? i need help with that as well. i could pay you if you charge now.
@dacads Yezzir. Its not a very good mic tho. Its good for it price but i regret not putting in an extra $80-$100 and buying a much better mic that isnt USB.
@dacads Its alright...but you cant hear urself while you record. many other mic's have the function that let you hear yourself through your headphones which is pretty awsum. Try buy something better if its not too late.
@ImpulsivMusic Lmao you can do that in cheap headsets :S You sure you setup your headphones or whatever right? In my control panel there is an option for speaker output for microphone, you must be doing something wrong..And no I'm not buying CO1U ;)
@ImpulsivMusic hey man my bad for another question, when i press the record button and i tried using my mike there's no sound. but theres nothing wrong with microphone. so how do i insert the microphone on cool edit ?
@OffcialMikeyPicks Its something like 40% decay...60% volume and like 1000ms delay for right headphone and 1200 for left. ALo those little bars in the echo thing at the bottom have been changed...i think ill make a whole tutorial on echo in a day or so. So stay tuned :)
@aaron4801 Check your range that is says "36" which is actually the default settings. Im pretty sure your range in Graphic Equaliser is 10...thats why it says +2. Hope i helped.
@ImpulsivMusic hey, why does the audio i record has 2 bar instead of one. like in second 0.07 your red bar is one but i have 2. and i cant seem to move my track at all can you tell me how do i fix that?
@musikLmind Thats fair enough..but when your mixing something it doesnt always sound good until youve finished mixing. For example if you have vocals and you add "fast attack" it wont sound any better just with that. I will upload a new tutorial showing how it sounds after each change soon tho.
@ImpulsivMusic i know that it wont sound realy better after only one single change! ive been working with CEP since 2007.i want to hear between each change for the only reason: to stick in my head WHAT it is doing,so i know exactly WHY im doing it,and so i could do right away what i want for the next reccordings.Thanks.im french & i cant understand many terms in mastering...i always start backward (with effects, details & with a million tracks tryin' here & there until it sounds how i want it to)
@musikLmind Ok i understand exactly what your are saying here. I will upload one soon with UPDATED steps and also what each one sounds like after each effect. Appreciate the tip. Thank you.
@ImpulsivMusic Thanks :) i was just sayin... coz no one is realy doing it :) it would be realy nice.
Also, if you can watch my original «i dont want u beside» right on my channel, and tell me what i do wrong or what i should do to make it sound better with what youre hearing. i would be grateful coz thats about the best i can do and it took me like 2 weeks !!!! thanks its a r & b song this one (i write any styles tho) thanksssss :)
Well I got a few questions, what setup do you have? As in is it pro, like do you record in a treated room with a good mic or a untreated bedroom with a USB mic like 90% of viewers? And also, will these apply to Adobe Aud 3?
@DJSugz I jus record in my room, its pretty bad dynamics in there. Um yea its a USB mic. And I have tried these settings on adobe audition 3 and they have similar effects, but i tend to make it a bit louder on adobe because when i record it comes out a little less loud for some reason. ALso in adobe i usually like to add some reverb because it has better quality reverb then cool edit and better echo.
Thanks for watching. Message me if u have anymore questions.
hey this is dope!!! you sound great!!! your accent is dope!!! no homo!!! you sound like a straight professional!!! thats my song too!!!!! im bout to find that beat!!!

@ImpulsivMusic Yeah I know fool. For me noise reduction sucks, it removes a lot of the vocals like u said :P makes them sound "digital"
