lol this was cuter to watch than a cat crapping in a toilet because dogs are so much smarter than cats!! the dog obviously knows what the toilet is and doesnt just associate it stereotypically as a litterbox. dogs are so much more aware than cats. he's even watching to see if his owner is watching him take a crap lol :) heehee he jumps right up and looks at his owner expectantly as if to say, "see i AM taking a crap in the toilet" lol

My cats both use the toilet. If I could get the puppy to do it it would be awesome! I have heard there is a spring-type thing you can attach under the seat to make it flush automatically when the cat jumps down or the person using it gets up. Even when i have to flush it is still WAY better than a litter box. Can't imagine not having to take the dog out!

hahah, we taught our dog to poop in the toilet that and over the years he's moved from the actual toilet, to outside the toilet and slowly onto the entrance of the toilet. He also used to just burst his way into the toilet to take a shit when my grandma is in there showering. She never locks the door. Haha.. he still does that and you can hear her scream at him a few times a week.

My bro's the one who read how to toilet train dogs in a pet magazine. We brought him to the toilet shower area (not he toilet bowl, we have a separate area for shower and then a shower screen and the toilet bowl's outside the screen) and made him sit there till he did his business. Once he was done we let him go and cleaned the area. We live in a flat & it was kinda necessary. After a few times he got the hang of it. If some1's inside, he scratches the door to be let in!

Not in the bathtub! It's a wash area (it's kinda hard to describe). It's in the bathroom and there's a separate section that was meant to be used as a shower (there's no tub in that bathroom). In place of the tub, it's just tiled flooring with a sliding door. No one uses that bathroom anyway so we taught our dog to poop/pee close to the manhole. When we see poop, we clean it up with a plastic bag and wash the place out. The area's small... Could fit about 4 people.

I toilet trained my standard poodle Lucy. For me it was as easy as regular potty training. I taught her from a pup. With standards being bigger I made a stand with a hole in the middle that surrounded the toilet so she didn't have to try and balance on the seat as she grew to full size. It took me a month of persistance and patience to teach her.
