Along came Maclaren, hyped the Pistols but that allowed a load of really talented bands to emerge - The Damned, The Cure, Siouxie, New Order and others. 1979 was the year of Thatcher, the old post War order passing ... thank God!

love this woman...and I'm an american who likes watered down beer and american football..but I love me some post punk dark brit pop..and siouxsie's the best. this is what happens to punks who actually had musical ability. this is what they became. If they didn't they became nobodies or they just became celebrities like the sex pistols. Siouxsie is by far the best thing to come out of that movement.

She's still pretty for her age, maybe a mean thing to say but she looks like she hasn't done any kind of face lift just natural aged well. her "Kiss them for me" album is the best age. Heart breaker for sure. It's weird she was in her early 30s then and was already singing for 20 years already. She's maybe 3-4 years away from 40 years as a singer and already close to 40 years for being the designer for many original punk bands.

I was speaking in past tense or I thought I was. not sure how you read into that. in another video someone argued she is an unknown compared to the cure. I'm guessing it was a young or younger person. I told them she was more or less the God (Godess?) Mother of Punk and design the look most often associated with Punk seen today. I'm pretty sure she will always be very Talented regardless of age.
