I see a comment saying that Jimmy Barnes does the backing vocal to this song. I have to correct you, it is John Farnham. If you really listen closely and know John's voice well, you will hear it really clearly, especially on the third count (I think) of singing 'As the Days Go By'.

I seem to be also, ever since my brother gave me Daryl's latest release "The Lemon Tree", a kind of unplugged CD recorded in Mid 2008. Unpolished, minimal instuments, sounds like your own personal jam session. It's a different slant on the original studio recordings. Today I pulled "Edge" out of the CD cupboard and gave it a spin. Nice!

Beautifull song & great singer. So is the rest of the rest of this album. Daryl Braithwaite, was a guest singer, during a brake, at the Danish "European Song contest final" at Beller Centre, Copenhagen, Denmark 1989.

I went aot, soem days later & bought his album.

I had never heard of him before.

Really great album, I must say!
