everyone in chickenfoot except for chad smith are gods cause they've been in music business for a long time. satch is a guitar god, no doubt. hagar and the bassist (I forgot his name lol) were in van halen. chad smith and rhcp were just like 90's. so...I respect chickenfoot nontheless. they saved rock and roll!!!

@TheMiamirocker what i heard was that he is going to be the drummer on the record but because his main thing is the chili peppers and the chili peppers' and chickenfoot's tours are going to be going on at the same time he is going to be doing the chili peppers tour (which im pumped for) and a replacement drummer will do most of the tour. he said in some interview that if he has a few days free he might pop in for a few chickenfoot concerts.

Lets run down the list: Sammy Hagar is one of the greatest rock singers (yes, Daltrey and Plant are on that list). Satriani is one of the best guitarists- and he beats Eddie because Joe is actually playing and Eddie has been sitting around for over a decade! Then you have Michael Anthony, the greatest living bass player. And the most underrated. And Chad Smith is a better drummer than almost anyone alive- The only person I can think of that's better is Alex Van Halen.

@Colierrannd2 Yeah I agree 100% hes better than wolfgang, it was rather bullshit the way EVH acted. Billy Sheehan is great yeah, I'm a big fan of Geddy Lee and Victor Wooten. I like bassists who don't just follow the guitarrists with root notes (and I'm a guitarrist saying this). It was obvious though that Eddie was never gonna let Michael be adventurous, besides his odd solos live of course.
