  • "Hard to sell" LMAO

  • @ zeeshawn its been a very long time since i read my youtube messages how r you feeling

  • can a beta thalassemia become a alpha thalassemia? how?

  • i have what they call the beta thalassemia... is that dangerous??

  • i dont know which i have, but i have thalassaemia. doc appointment monday. doc determines that right?

  • Careful, there are about a dozen variations of "Thalassemia" -- alpha, beta, delta and variants thereof. Don't assume that someone on the internet talking about Thalassemia has the same as you or your loved one

  • great>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>thnx

  • If he calls a disease a trait, obviously he doesn't have it and don't know what he's talking about. Besides "palor, fatigue and irritibality" there are multiple other symptoms, such as lack of stamina, introversion, anxiety, trouble sleeping, each with it's own set of consequences. At times fatigue can be severe and exhaustive. Introversion makes thelessamics rigid and unattentive. Anxiety makes you appear nervous. Lack of sleep invites even more fatigue. Irritability costs relationships.

  • dude your completely wrong you dont know anything about this you made two videos and spelled thalassemia wrong in both of them if you were a real doctor you would spell them right

  • does sickle cell or thalasemia effect jews please answer anyone

  • pretty sure it can effect everyone if anyone in your family has it you might have it jew or not

  • @mchaleoblique1 It is very common in middle eastern countries.

Back in the days 1 out of every 4 families in Italy had some sort of anemic person in a house hold. Just be aware.

  • thankfully thalassemia minor has never affected my active life. Just gotta b sure i take in enough iron cuz my iron is low

  • I totally agree with you...due to thalasemia even i have endometrosis.....i have found out from alternatives treatment...we look healthy only god knows what we go through....daily the tiredness...and i put on weight easily too..do you....when i go for exercise i get easily tired...god god..

  • I'm 21 and just found out by fluke that I have alpha-thalassemia trait. I'm always tired and always get sick. I'm mixed race african, english, polish, italian and french so its no wonder I do.... -_- but at least I know now so I can play it safe by using the chat up line - hey babe, have you been tested negative for thalassemia? yes? great! - will you marry me? :D

  • I have thalassemia minor and am 11 years old and live a normal and very active life. I play football, basketball, and run track. I have never had any issues, other than my parents make sure I take vitamins without iron.

  • i am italian and i got thalassemia minor and ye it is true you are tired all the time and have no energy ever and i have a little boy with thal major and hes undergoin many treatments and i got a little boy with sickle cell and its awful to see them with this disease i pray for a cure

  • @mommyjaylon So do I. I am beta thal major.

  • He said Thalassemia minor doesn't cause any signs or symptoms. WRONG!!!! I may not need treatment but damn it if I ain't tired all the time, get sick very easily, can sleep for more than 10 hours at a time. I'm pure white too german/swedish/irish.....so try to figure that out how I got this?

  • We may not need "medical" treatment like transfusion or prescribed medicines from the doctor but we DO need to make sure we are getting the vitamins we need so we can keep making enough blood. If we aren't getting enough folate in our diet we can have symptoms, not just anemia but also depression and mental status symptoms (mental fatigue?) and become irritable or have insomnia/hypersomnia. It can drive you up the wall if you don't know what to do about it. I'm looking into wheatgrass too.

  • good work. people could also visit thalassaemia international federation site or ukts.some research has been done on wheatgrass and its effects on thalassemia also gene therapy looks promising . iam a parent of a child who had thalassemia .
