I agree but this was also a work of nature as it was work of man. Even Pagasa acknowledged we had record breaking rainfall that day. The fact it caught everybody unaware and caught local governments unprepared is the real tragedy of this event. We have two more weather systems on the way right now. One is most likely going to miss us but I'm not too sure about the second one. From the satellite pics it looks like its going to be heading our way again. People need to brace themselves again.

Oh my lord! We take the same road on the way to school and work! I actually decided not to go to work that day because my family always go on flood alert every time we have really bad weather. Experience has made us weary of monsoon seasons and rains because we've already been flooded really bad three times in the past. You and the other folks driving through that flood were very very very lucky your engines didn't give out. You could have been stuck in the middle of that "ocean"
