It is such a tragedy his life ended the way it did and as early as it did. If only he had believed in himself more and realised his own wonderful talent. He seemed to have it all: great physical beauty and sex appeal, amazing talent, tremendous charisma with both men and women, fame, wealth, the adoration of millions ... and yet he was a self-hating, self-abusing addict who pushed away the many people who loved him and tried to help him. Then he died young and left us with his deep, soulful music. What a sad story.
i would attribute equal parts, alcohol abuse, drug abuse, and plain getting old for dennis wilsons appearance declining late in life.... i know a guy that alcohol totally messed up like that... looks like a shell of his former self... tragic. but thats what happens when you play with fire. we cant live forever and although he died young dennis' light burned very brightly. amazing talent in that family.
