I take my Hobie Holder 12 out on Tomalas bay from Nicks Cove often. Its a great bay to sail but watch the shallow bottom at the dock! Maybe I'll see you out there...
Never seen a Holder 12 out there! Yup, shallow at the dock, especially when the tide is out. I am selling my Vagabond because I bought a Montgomery 15. You can see that boat in my other videos.
@wraslin Did you get a Holder 14? If so, there is a wonderful Yahoo group dedicated to the boat with a whole bunch of photos and documents about the boat. My modifications include a simple boom vang, topping lift, and recently, I added jiffy reefing to the main so I can reduce sail. I will set up a simple jib downhaul soon. The Lido is faster and more tender. The Vagabond is simpler and more stable.

You know, I watched this video when choosing between a Lido14 and a Holder14.
Please post more vids when you can.
BTW, tell us about your boom vang and another updates or mods.
