At OzCruiseClub we have been reporting the facts to our members as they came to hand.

Your video has helped some of our newer members who were stressed about our upcoming club cruise next week.

Due to media misinformation people are confused.

Ships don't carry the virus people do and in this case it is unfortunate that the Pacific Dawn has been blamed for the transmission. As a past passenger I know that the staff will always ensure you are well cared for and have a wonderful cruise.

Thanks for the continued updates. I have been avoiding the newspapers on this, as I am cruising again on Carnival Australia sister ship Dawn Princess next week. Carnival Australia & NSW/QLD Health authorities have been putting out factual daily updates that I have been following on OzCruiseClub. Some newspaper reports couldn't even bother to get the name of the ship correct.

Having sailed on 5 cruises within P&O Cruises over the past 5 years - I commend P&O in the way they conduct themselves with regards to HYGEINE.

I had a upset stomach one of my cruises and the medical staff where fantastic and very professional so PLEASE dont let this stop you from cruising as as Ann said this can happen anywhere !

The media sensationalism re Swine Flu & now with P&O is amazing. Let's not let the facts get in the way of a good story! We were on the cruise beforehand (5 - 16/5/09) & even at that time (before the media beat-up) there was checking of sickness at embarkation, plus regular & repeated cleanliness & sterilisation procedures on-board plus daily updates from the Cruise Director. P&O handled everything perfectly then & now. Now if you can just get your "My Choice" dining a bit better ;-))
