Energizing Wind has been heavily nerfed. Lots of people complain about it, saying you can't solo with that build anymore. Dunno myself though, don't have a trapping ranger. :P

Trappers are perfect for soloing the UW but I'm more of a tank person. For those who want to make a good tank just make sure you have five knights insignias and one superior absorbtion rune. At least one green sword also.

dudes... u dont need spirits to solo UW -.-. rly it just takes a lot more time u gotta use this build: arcane echo, echo, serpents quickness,dust trap, flame trap,

barbed trap, whirling charge, storm chaser(optional). equipment: full radiant armor, 1 attunement rune 16 expertise, 15 wilderniss survival, a +20 energy staff(like forgotten)

u just need to set 8 dust traps and some flame traps (1 is enough) and a barbed trap and ur done. spirits r for losers... !!!!HARDCORE HOLLAND!!!!

This build is useless now because of the Energizing Wind nerf... lasts like 20 seconds now....if you still dont get it...Dust Trap costs 17 Energy with 16 Expertise....17 out of 40-ish is alot to be spamming.... Energizing winds reduces that 17 to 7 iirc? or was it 2? i dunnno....

The duration was the cost of energy reread my comment. If they change up the percentage of Expertise from 4 to 2 and change up the "-15" energy of Energizing winds to 7 to a max up to 9 then it might work.

Im not talking about the cost of the traps im talking about how long EW stays up.... its still -15 (minimum of 10) .....EW used to stay up for 90 seconds now it stands up for like 20....which makes echoing the Dust Traps really hard...

Anet frikken NERFED energizing winds that used to reduce ur energy drasticly... so echo trapping cant be done anymore ( this was b4 nerf ) btw nice vid, still owns :) 5/5 i once btw wisped u ingame m8 for sum tips 2 years ago ^^

i was asked several times for the build description, 'cause guildwiki doesnt have builds anymore. you can still find it on pvxwiki dot com, but you have to search for it (underworld solo trapper).

anyway, as the build appearently is nerft, the build won't help you much. but i still think it's a good starting point for new builds, just need to be more creative ;)

it's all in the vid - you see how and where i laid the traps so i could lure the aatxes and darknesses into my trapspot. you need whirling defense to drag them to the traps, otherwise you'll die by a single hit (and they will hit you ;)).

btw. Underworld is accessible from all three campaignes, not only prophecies - guildwiki is your friend ;)

it really depends on your style of play. if you are a save player not willing to take risks, yeah tripwire is better. but don't think you can aggro two aatxes and 3 darkness and pull them to your trapspot without WD, no sir, one blow and you're dead ;)

Skills used are: Serpent's Quickness,Arcane Echo, Echo,Dust Trap, Energizing Wind, Whirling Defense, Quickening Zephyr, and Barbed Trap. Basically, set up spirits, then--echo Dust Trap(Arcane Echo+Echo)in a confined space as shown in the video. Now pull and watch what happens ^^
