  • when Mark and Reggie were saying goodbye I started to cry...LOVE this movie!

    TY for posting...))

  • To kill Mark and his family and often terrorizes and tortures Mark throughout the film. At the end, Reggie and her "frenemy" attorney, Roy Foltrigg (Tommy Lee Jones) work out an agreement and end up putting Mark and his family in the Witness Protection Program. Mark and Reggie say their "goodbyes" and Mark is never again to see Reggie. Ricky is still in a coma.

  • @Chakdegirl "The Client" is a legal thriller film. Mark Sway (Brad Renfro) is a streetwise Tennessee boy who has witnessed a Suicidal Mafia murder along with his brother Ricky who became traumatized by the incident and is in a coma. Everyone is compelling Mark to tell what happened, but he's not telling, in fear that someone will harm him or his family. He desperately hires a lawyer, Reggie Love, (Susan Sarandon) who not only helps Mark, but becomes his best friend. Meanwhile, the Mafia is out

  • one of the best films of the 90s. hard to believe you've passed away buddy. RIP.

  • if u have anymore susan sarandon, please post!

  • MAKE MORE MOVIES LIKE THIS NOWDAYS! PLEASE!

  • Reggie Love's the BEST!!!

  • thanks to you for movie well great movie thanks again

  • the only part i didn't like was when Reggie says that Foltrigg knows the Bible better than God Himself, as i think that is blasphemy. other than that, and the fact that had i written the screenplay, i'd have added several more scenes, good movie.

  • @BibleJoker2Face "Better the Bible than..." a paradox, an absurd. No blasphemy: just irony.

  • Really good movie. Taut script with crisp direction. Susan Sarandon was excellent as Reggie Love, and Mark Renfro was absolutely believable as Mark Sway. Tommy Lee Jones was a regular hard-case who turns out alright in the end, and Mary Louise-Parker was terrific as Dianne Sway. Had I written the screenplay, though, I would have added several more scenes.

  • Thank you so much for posting up this movie!!! Great film! xx

  • I watched A Few Good Men last night and this today. Best movie weekend EVER.

  • Just as good as I remember from years ago.

    Thx, LR :)

  • Sorry but I am compelled to ask 'WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS MOVIE'? It looks like some normal case that happens.....whats so special about it....?,,,,I am also reading John Grisham's another novel and I am already bored after reading half of it and chances are I won't read it....this movie sucks except Susan....

  • Did i miss something or what the fuck happend to ricky?

  • I know Tommy Lee Jones' role is not big in that movie but I love to watch this guy every time :)

  • @VagosTheReaper Me too. He's the reason I wanted to see it. But Reggie & Mark turned out to be great too.

  • I feel kinda sad now, knowing that such a handsome boy who could act so well is now dead. It's hard for me to imagine that I saw a movie with an actor who's dead now:( I really do love him♥

R.I.P Brad Renfro. May you Rest In Piece♥

  • barry the blade is the only sympathetic character in this film...the hillbillies should have been turned over to the mafia for being offensive and susan sarandon didn't show any boobs in this one

  • great film

  • Sorry, but I have to disagree with everyone who has posted comments saying this was a great movie. The acting is poor; the plot is weak; the beginning is bizarre and incredible; the ending is basic. Susan Sarandon played a good role, Tommy Lee Jones played his increasingly routine position as an officer of the law well, but all things considered, whilst this might have been a decent film and a high budget one at that back in 1994, in 2010 it deserves no more than 2 stars.

  • @nottinghamization well, I disagree with you on that one, I think this was a great movie, I believe the acting, like the actors and think its a great story, and I also dont think the plot is that weak, I mean I can tell a lot more movies nowadays that are way more unrealistic.. or maybe youre right and im just into this kind of stories.
