  • Why all the comments about the price of Martins? I guess so many Americans are used to the cheap crap at Walmart, that they don't even know what they are looking at when they see a masterpiece that has been crafted by true artists and craftsmen.

  • why spend $109,000 on a guitar when a guiar that looks practiically identical can be had for $800??

    do an ebay search for

"FLORAL INLAY SOLID INDIA ROSEWOOD ACOUSTIC GUITAR"

  • doesn't that guy look like mr. spock??

  • @MrXAVIERDB First, nobody should take financial advice from YouTube.

Since you're an expert, please explain why it's mostly large corporations who own Stradivarius violins? Rare/expensive instruments are no more wasteful than paying a million bucks for an original Van Gogh.

If the insurance companies are willing to insure a Martin D100 for $109K, then maybe they need to get a life.

I spent $2700 on a Collings, and It'll only increase in value...And it makes me smile, unlike my 401K.

  • dang, my old house was worth that much !!!!!

  • I've got a Martin OM21 Special and I LOVE IT!!! I've had it nearly 2 years now and I just can't stop playing it. It's like the Pied Piper. Every time I see it, whatever I'm doing, before I know it I'm playing..

  • Walela, you have no idea what you're talking about. There is NO Chinese Martin factory. The Mexican Martins are much cheaper than those from Nazareth for obvious reasons. I've been to the factory several times, and I've loved Martin guitars since the '60s.

You need to get off your sorry butt and go to Pa. and see the factory.

  • OMG $109,000! Inlay are extremelly beautifull

    Very interesting

  • If you think a $109,000 guitar is a waste of money, try buying $109,000 worth of mutual funds, and see which does better after 25 years. Rare and vintage guitars are a solid investment. If you buy a '59 Les Paul, it will never lose value (unless you set it on fire).

...AND you can't play or admire your 401K.

  • Oh my God, a very very highly price for only one Guitar - 109000 Dollars...

In these Case you should be to compare this wonderful Queen of Dreagnaught with a Painting, a Picture of Pablo Picasso or Claude Monet... it is Art of it`s best... Amazing inlays and build every second with 1000 % Heartblood. Great!!!

  • All I can say is...ONE HUNDRED AND NINE THOUSAND DOLLARS???? Is he smoking? My jaw literally dropped when I heard that.

  • wow!...omg! whatta price... of that D-100

  • Love my D15 all mahogany. Martin guitars are among the best instruments ever made. The D15 is the most affordable all solid wood guitar Martin produces. I LOVE THE VIBRATIONS THE MAHOGANY BACK DELIVERS TO MY BODY !!!

  • all you people who own Martins are so lucky . I would love to own one. Cherish it and consider yourselves blessed!

Music from a Martin is food for the soul !!

God bless and stay gold !!

  • i love my martin, best sounding guitar i have ever owned or played
